How To Inject Vicodin
14 Topics FoundLooking for a new pain management doctor. I was a patient of Dr. Padda, he's a total jerk and you have to wait all day, the office is nasty and so are his employees. But, he will write. I had to quit seeing due to a change of insurance. I don't want to go through 20 appointments w various doctors. Just wanting to find someone quick and easy to deal with for my existing pain treatment. ## I was just referred to the padda institute for pain management. I've had one appointment with dr belcher out of the north county location. I can't tell if he will write or not or just do injections. I have done injections and other interventional type before with little success. Have you found anyone yet?
1 REPLY Filed under VicodinI was using one of the online face2face consults services but they can't find any more doctors for me to see, even out of state. I went to RI and NY but they aren't around anymore. I've had chronic knee pain after multiple surgeries, can't take NSAIDS, and injections last a week, if they can even get the needle into all the scar tissue. Looking for an understanding doc in MA or RI who will prescribe and not accuse me of being an addict ## Try Dr Jay Portnow in Brockton. He only works 3 days per week. Also heard that either the ER or a pain clinic at a hospital in New Bedford might.
1 REPLY Filed under VicodinQuestion 1: I had been going to the SAME Dr. for OVER 14 years. I NEVER ONCE failed a drug test as long as I have been going to him. He retired a few months ago and a different Dr. took his place. The new Dr. told me he WILL give me the SAME medications and treatments that my old Dr. was giving me, BUT I HAVE to pass a drug test first. I said FINE WITH ME. The new Dr. gave me my drug test, did the test right infront of me, once the results came up, he told me my test is FINE, here are my pills, and he gave me the injections. He told me to schedule an appt to come back the following month as I have been doing with my former doctor. 5 days BEFORE my NEXT appt, I received a letter from them telling me I am NOT permitted to come back, I FAILED a drug test and tested positive for heroin, coc...
1 REPLY Filed under OxycodoneHi, I had a work injury back in 2012 and now have three herniated discs and nerve problems. I have been to pain management who have done injections and radiofrequency ablations but with little success. I can't take Ibuprofen due to a bypass and reflux issues and tylenol doesn't help. I was being given Vicodin but now no doctor will prescribe it due to all the new laws and problems with abuse and addiction. I have been faithful to my primary and pain management doctor and even have my insurance on board to make sure I am a faithful patient and not an abuser. So I am in desperate need to find a doctor who doesn't tell me to go home, put ice, heat and rest or take tylenol. I have tried all the options besdes surgery which I was told wasn't the best option due to my age. Ple...

21 REPLIES Filed under VicodinWhat is the suggested dosage for Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 5 325? ## The recommended dosing is usually 1 to 2 tablets, every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain, not to exceed 8 tablets in a day. Learn more Vicodin details here. However, there are other factors that can play a role in how much is right for you, such as other medications you are taking and any other medical conditions you may have. Thus, you should follow any instructions provided by your doctor, or pharmacy. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Is Vicodin in this drug? My physician perscribed this drug above. I had an IS joint injection and now suffer with nerve pain. I don't like how I feel on this drug. How does it differ from this drug-Hydrocodone Ascomp with Codine 5/300mg? 6 REPLIES Filed under HydrocodoneHey guys. I am new to the northern Iowa area. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 21 years. Up until 2 years ago, I had never done anything but take Nsaids for pain. But then I started taking vicodin, and then last year my pain doctor started prescribing oxycodone and a muscle relaxer. It has been the only thing that has helped me. I've tried injections, physical therapy, and acupuncture. Now that I have moved, I am having a terrible time finding a pain clinic that will provide my meds. Everyone I have seen in the northern iowa, Minnesota area has just been awful. Truly, awful. Does anyone know of a kind doctor or clinic that prescribes opioid medications? I've always heard the mayo clinic system was the best... however I can honestly say, they are the absolute worst :(
Filed under VicodinGuy we are helping out takes Suboxin. He ran out and took 7 750 Vicodin in the morning and another 7 later that night. The next day he said he went to the dr and got more Suboxin. This was the 2nd and no one was open. He came home with a very large round dark pink pill. None of the pics for Suboxin match. What could it be? This guy used to be an RN and got hooked on oxy. I have a 6 year old in the house and am worried. This is the first incident in 4 months. ## It is actually not safe to inject any medication that has not been specifically formulated to be used that way. Tablets, especially time released formulations, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled in your waste, however, if you inject them, you are putt...
1 REPLY Filed under VicodinCan anyone advise me on a pain management physician somewhere in or around Virginia that is willing to treat with Fentanyl Patch for pain control? I have severe lordosis, pinched nerve (inoperable) and have received multiple steroid injections at both L5 and L2. The Lumbar pain has only worsened with severe Sciatica down my left leg to my left foot. I was actually discharged from the Marine Corps at age 19 for severe back pain, which over the years has responded to oral steroids, but no longer. I am being prescribed Vicodin for pain 2 tabs every 4 hours. However, the pain control is not consistent due to sleep, and I also fear taking 5 Grams/Tylenol every day. I just feel that being placed on a fentanyl patch makes more sense than constant refills of Vicodin and having to stop to take t...
1 REPLY Filed under Fentanylwhat morphine 4mg IV injection is ## Morphine is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Read more on it here: Do you have any other questions? ## I was in the ER yesterday for flank/adomnal pain (right side) and the doctors came to the diognosis that I had a kidney infewction and uti which name is hard to remember but it began with a "P" labeling my kindney infection. I had a migraine head ache and I was given 4mg morphine twice. The infection was treated with Cipro. Is 4mg Morphine a dangerous way to relieve a headache? I am still in pain which I was given 5/500mg vicodin in a count of #12 and #30 zophran for nausea. My question is this, is morphine 4mg a little or a lot and how long should it take for my flank pa...
3 REPLIES Filed under MorphineThis may sound strange. I have been fighting middle back pain for 5 yrs. I see a pain mgmt. dr. and we have gotten all the way to Fentanyl patches. I take 175 Mcgm hrs. Nothing has helped. I have had Nuclear bone scans, Multiple MRI's, Nuerologists, Rhumotologists, EMG's Chiropractors, Been on Vicodin, Soma, Lyrica, Spinal Injections, Nerve blocks, Facet joint blocks, You name it!!! I saw a new nuerologist, and he wanted new MRI's with contrast this time. I told him that if it had to be closed MRI, then I would need sedation, cause I am chlostrophobic. So I did 3 MRI's with contrast, on 3 successive days. Upper, Middle, and then lower. They sedated me with a 10mg Valium each day before the MRI's. All of the sudden, after 5 yrs of nothing but pain in my middle back. I...
3 REPLIES Filed under ValiumFor those worried about pain management here is a short version of my story, I had 6 major surgeries, worst was 9 inches ( instead of the one I was suppose to have) of spinal surgery due to adult spina bifida. For a year prior to it I could barely walk and was in severe pain.. Was told it was in my head by two neurologist. Received steroid and cortisone injections from pain management that ended in plastic surgery as the injections deteriorated my muscles and tissue! After my surgeries the Pain management Drs put me on 100 mcgs of Fentynal patch every 2days, gave me so much Vicodin, muscle relaxers, phenergan, fiorecet, ect I could have started my own pharmacy! Kept doing it for 6 months.. Ok after that they refused to see me stating since I can't have the injections they needed the...
1 REPLY Filed under CortisoneI was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis 8 years ago. I also have no L5S1 disc in my spine from an old car accident. I have chronic/constant neck spasms from the MS as well as from the spine spasms. I have tried valium, gabepenton, lyrica and flexeril. I had trigger point injections in my neck/shoulders. No relief at all. My Neuro wants to do another trigger point injection himself. But what is that going to do for the spasms in my back and the ones I get in my legs from time to time? He will not prescribe ANY pain medications. I requested Vicodin, since I had a short prescription from a busted blood vessel in my hip from my MS injectable medication that messed me up pretty bad. I actually felt half normal! It was great because I didn't feel "dopey", I was...
