I have been taking .5mg of clonazepam prescribed by my doctor on an as needed basis. I was told its 1/2 life is 18 hours. I have a prescription, but I have an employment physical next week. Very worried. I have MS so I take several narcotic type meds. Klonopin is one. I take 2mg 3 times a day which is a large dose for good reason. Even with multiple sclerosis & other medical problems, I too get tested in pain management. I have no addiction history but I do feel bad for those who do & wish them well. Well I went to my family doctor and he wrote me a script of clonazepam 2mg. I start my intensive out patient Monday. I will be doing a 12 panel urine screen, I have only taken one and that was last night on Wednesday. So please someone tell me will it be out? ## If u hv a valid rx it does not mstter if it shows up. I have a urine drug screen and a physical on Monday. I have very high blood pressure. They always take my blood pressure before these things and I have been told that I can't take the physical if it is above a certain point. My question is, if I take a 1mg clonazepam prior to the drug screen and physical, how soon will it show up after taking effect? Has anyone ever been prescribed Clonazepam and been drug tested and a minute amount of Alprazolam showed positive in your urine? ## Found out it was Accord brand made in China and through my research it looks as if Accord brand is not always FDA approved. I will never take that brand again I have been drug tested for over 20 years with NEVER a positive drug screen until I picked up my last prescription and within one week of taking it had a drug screen and a small minute amount of Alprazolam was positive in that test. This has caused a backlash of horrible circumstances and should have NEVER happened. There is no recourse for me except digging and pinning down when and where this PATICULAR medication came from.
