I don't know why the pill did not dissolve. I picked it up just to make sure, with a glove on of course. No wonder my sugar was high every morning. I took this medication at night. But not only 1 pill, I took 3. Before that I was bloated and had diarrhea that morning, but when I passed the stool I felt relieved n felt good. I stopped and found that my sugar levels were fine in the morning and my blood sugar is ok. ## What you are seeing in your stool is just the shell of the pill. Some components of this medication are not meant to be digested or dissolved by your body, instead they are part of a mechanism to help control how much of the medication you receive in your body, at once. If you stopped taking it abruptly, you need to inform your doctor and discuss the issue with them, as...

I use to take this cough syrup when I was a kid. It was the only cough syrup that would help me. I was just wondering if it still can be bought? You had to mix it at home but I forget how. If anyone knows if it is still for sale or not please let me know ## I found a 1925 newspaper with instructions for making your own cough syrup. 2 1/2 oz. Pinex. 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water. Stir until dissolved. No cooking needed. ## I am looking for the same Pinex liquid cough syrup. We use to mix it in a jar with Honey! It was so thick. It was great to get rid of mucus. It stops the colds from going into the lungs. ## I cannot find PINEX..However, I did find a product a few days ago called CREOMULSION..made by a company in Marrietta, Ga. it looks like Pinex and tastes like Pinex. Now I'll see if ...

Udiliv, is it prescribed for cirrhosis of liver or for a sluggish liver or for any other reason. That are the consumption uses. How about a person having Diatebetes-2, also? ## Udiliv contains the active ingredient Ursodiol, it is a bile acid and is mainly given to dissolve gallstones. As such, no it is really not going to help treat Diabetes, which is a blood sugar condition. Learn more: It will not, however, negatively affect someone who is diabetic, whose doctor has prescribed it. How are you? No, there is nothing to worry about, the outer shell of the tablet is not intended to be dissolved, according to the manufacturer, Intas Pharmaceuticals, however, all of the medication is still released. This method is used by some manufacturers to help control how much of the medication is released over time, to avoid your getting too much ...

would like to suggest a glucose pen such like the epi pen for my brother with type 1 diabetes. ## And Epi pen, is Ephiphrine, used to treat allergies and would not do anything for diabetes. You are able to buy both tablets that dissolve in the mouth, as well as liquid drops at virtually any drugstore, that work fast to relieve a low sugar attack. Orange Juice, or any liquid with a regular sugar content will help to bring him out of it, just follow it with something like yogurt or a sandwich that contains long sugar molecules to maintain the sugar balance at a higher level. ## Glucagon is an injectable treatment for low blood sugar, primarily for those with type 1 diabetes or who have frequent low blood sugars that require help to treat. It works much like an Epipen and comes in a kit. I...

My Clonazepam Dispersible Tablets came in a blister pack from Torrent. I want to know if they contain the active ingredients that they're supposed to. It's a banana tasting pill. ## I recieved the same "instant dissolve" white ones with one score and no other marks, banana supersweet sugary pills in 10 packs (5x2) with dome shaped blisters on the packs like the Teva 1mg "instant dissolve" script I got from my doc. They taste the same, package is the same (just no perfection on the b-kins package. They are not fake but not as strong as I was expecting. The packaging and the pill were almost identical...weird, prob made the same place? ## I got the same thing. I wanted to know if they were legitimate or not. White, blank on one side 1 straight line on other. I wish...

USES, effectiveness in weight loss, SIDE EFFECTS, DRUG INTERACTIONS ## Is there any diabetic drug which is soluble in tongue like metmorphine or any other diabetic drug available which is soluble in saliva? ## I'm sorry, but were you referring to Metformin? It is commonly used to help control, and lower blood sugar levels. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, increased urination, headache, flatulence, and hypoglycemia. Dev, I am not aware of any that are intended to be dissolved orally. Is that the way you were told to take this medication?

if a diabetic person taking glycomet gp2 forte before dinner observe metformin part come out with stool in the morning what conclusion may be drwan about absorption of the medicine in the body.pl guide. ## The Metformin is actually slowly released into your body, to give better blood sugar control for a longer period of time. Basically what you saw in your stool was just the outer shell of the pill, but the medication was still released into your body, just as it should be. The entire tablet isn't meant to be dissolved and broken down, so seeing it in your stool is perfectly normal. Is there anything else I can help with?

i sometimes get confused with my prednisone pills i am taking both 1mg and 10mg and they are both close very close in apperance and size. can i coat them by put some chocolate powder sugar so i can eliminate taking the wrong dose? what do you recommend. ## Have you asked your pharmacist for ideas? I'd think that anything that marked them, without making them damp, so they'd start to dissolve would be fine. You'd also want to avoid something that would make them stick together, so I do have concerns about the sugar, because it could sometimes do that. I wonder if a good coloring pen, would work, since it would be something that you could use to mark them, without making them really wet? I'd suggest checking with your pharmacist, they may even have a way that they can do i...

what kinda pill is this? i was giving this and they said it was two tablets of 2mg suboxone. equals 4 mg ## Did you find out if this was suboxone? ## could you please tell me what the oxagan shaped white pill with a M on one side and a 2.5 on the other side is. I WAS TOLD IT WAS A GENERIC SUBOXONE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN? ## It is a 2mg soboxone pill. I take these for opioid addiction. It's a synthetic pill. I find it has less side effects than methadone. ## My buddy gave me a suboxone it was a small white pill with a m on one side but I couldn't make out what was on the other I tasted it and it had a sugar taste. Did he lie to me ## No he didn't. The reason they taste like that is because they are sublingual, meaning you have to leave them under your tongue and let them dissolve...

The tablet does not dissolve and comes out in stool. Kept a tablet in water for 24 hrs but there was no change. In spite of 1000 mg dose along with 1mg Glimepiride there is no sugar control.
