the new oxycontin op crush
is there anyway at all to crush the new oxys they are making??? ## No, the new Oxycontin OP has been specially formulated to prevent people from doing this. If you try to crush it, it turns into a gummy goo, to retain its time released properties. Otherwise, it is supposed to work the same and have the same side effects: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any questions or comments? ## that sucks ## You can crush them very simply, as well as defeat the gel. So PLEASE Verwon, stop spamming every OP thread and misleading people, ok? ## Now, I have nothing against those who choose to abuse Oxy or any other pharmaceutical drug because it is frankly none of my business. We have been trying to stop drug use for over a century and lets face facts, if people want t... ...

how can you crush new oxycontin
I have the new oxycontin and it seems undoable to crush and snort anybody know anything about that ## Yea, It is made so that you can NOT Snort them! Why would you want too in the first place? Abusing them is why they changed from the O.C. to the O.P. I guess alot of people thought that the O.C. meant Okay to Crush, now it means Oxy Puddy! I don't think they work as well but I am smiling at the fact that their are a bunch of people going thru withdrawl from abuse! Those who really need them for pain well I am sorry but we will have to live with a little more pain then we have in the past. I don't like it one bit but at least it will cut back on the abuse! THANK YOU for that! If people did not abuse them then it would have stayed the same and for us who live in constant pain well... ...

How To Inject New Oxycontin OP
I've tried everyting with the new Op Oxycontin and this is the best and only way to do this. {edited for safety} ## that dose not work the i have wasted two or three of them it just sets in your nose and then you snezze and its gone i get 90 60 a mounth and been takeing them for 5 years best way to take them is let them set in your mouth and slowly chew on them its all most like snorting them ## The best way to take this pill is to follow the instructions on the bottle. Obviously the new OP was made for a reason, and likewise a pill is a pill for a reason- to take orally. For those who do not know how to take this pill orally, here are instructions: "Swallow oxycodone extended-release tablets whole; do not chew, break, divide, crush, or dissolve them. If you swallow broken, chew... ...

Thank you ## I think I heard that the makers of Oxycontin (Purdue/Pharma) just changed their Oxycontin tablets with some sort of a plastic covering. I read about it about six months ago, saying that they will be moving to this new formula. It is supposed to curb abuse of the medication. Obviously it is working! Sorry dude. ## It is not a plastic, since that could not be broken down by the human body. However, yes they cannot be broken down to be abused, like the previous Oxycontin could be. purdue's new oxycontin OP
I've been on oxycontin 80 mg for years, I suffer from severe degenerative disc disease and c.p. These new OPs are junk, its almost like they added rubber cement to the pills. Breaking them down w/sandpaper or a cheese gratter isnt going to do anything other than gum up as soon as it hits your nose, because u r haven't removed the time release from the pill. Heat and/or moisture are what cause it to gum up....all your gonna end up w/is a really expensive booger.... people have to figure out how to remove this new time release polymer. W/the old OCs u could remove the time realease by cooking crushed OC, the time release was more like a wax so it was possible to remove w/heat then cold...someone who understands chemical equations and formulas needs to take a look at the new formul... ...

SNORTING THE NEW OXYCONTIN 9-MG
ARE THERE ANY DANGERS IN SNORTING THE NEW OXYCONTIN 80MG OTHER THAN GETTING TOO MUCH AT ONCE. ## There are always dangers to snorting tablets, especially the time released ones. They contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are usually just expelled in your waste. When you crush a tablet and snort it, you are putting it into your body, in a manner in which it can no longer dispose of those substances. This creates that danger of blockages. These new Oxycontin OP tablets are especially problematic, because they are specially designed to help prevent abuse, even if someone tries to crush them, they turn into a gummy substance that retains its time released properties. Are there any other comments or questions? ## Yes you can fuggin DIE right ... ...

Still causes the same side effects: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. How To Break Down Oxycontin Op Inject It
I am a Iraq vet who has a heroin problem I have easy availableity to the new op Oxy.cotten but have learned u can shoot them up can you help me? ## Shooting up any medication, which is not intended to be injected, is actually very dangerous. Tablets, especially time released ones, contain fillers that are not intended to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled in your waste. If you inject these medications, you are putting these fillers into your body in a manner, in which, it can't eliminate them and this creates the risk of blockages, that could lead to embolisms or strokes. And as to the new Oxycontin, it has been specially formulated to help prevent this type of abuse, even if you try to crush it and dissolve it, it turns into a gummy substance that ret... ...

op + 40 oxycontin pill
a yellowish, round (cylindrical) pill with rounded (convex) top and bottom...waxy coated with white interor, but interior has texture consistency similar to a hard gummy-bear candy. Chewing it is difficult, as tough dried-jelly-like interior is very cohesive and sticky...it tends to work its way into tooth's biting surface irregularities, and is compacted into spaces between teeth, where it can take 30 or more minutes to disolve. Taste is just like oxycodone but more subtle than Oxycontin. Not scored, smaller than a raisin, one side says OP and other side says 40. Is this the new tamper proof oxycontin?? ## That's exactly right, this is the new Oxycontin OP 40mg. Unlike the regular Oxycontin, if you try to crush or chew this one, it doesn't make a difference, it is specially... ...

What Does The Op Stand For In Oxycontin
I want to know why the call it an op. what is in it to make it a op ## thank you ## It's actually just the nickname it's gotten from the markings on the new tablets, to tell them apart from the old, the new formulation used OP on them, rather than the OC that was used on the originals. The new formulation to prevent abuse is proprietary and while you can find lists of the inactive ingredients, they don't actually give the details on how they are put together to accomplish this. However, attempts to abuse it, by crushing or chewing result in its turning into a gummy substance, which retains its time released properties. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

Are there any questions or comments? ## yes you can snort the new op 80s ive have done it ## Oxy 80 OP can be broken down into a powder form that in fact can be snorted. You will need to obtain a Nutmeg Grinder with a sealed container to catch the shavings (powder). From there you can figure it out. I only say this because of being a chronic pain patient myself, and I know what its like to wait for the time release to actually release and it doesn't. This no... ...
