Recently got my lipid profile done,The readings are Sr.Ch= 233 / 50-200 mgs/dl.Tri-Glycerides = 205 / 50-170 mgs/dl, LDL = 145 /100-150 mgs/dl , HDL = 45 / 35-65 mgs/dl, (T) Lipids = 688 /400-1000 jmgs/dl , LDL/HDL Ratio = 3.4:1 / 3.0:1 ,Chol/HDL Ratio = 5.5: 1 / 5.0:1. I am advised by the doctor to take Tonact 10 for high Cholestrol. Now I have been taking it almost for an year. I sometimes feel weak and loose control of nerves. Is this kind of side effect? Should I discontinue? Dr. prescibed me this tablet for controlling Cholestrol. Is it a life long drug? ## I only want to know is whether I can discontinue the medicine which is prescribed to me for maintenance of Cholesterol level as normal if I find that I have normal level of bad cholesterol. ## Rasiklal, it depends. i am diabetic last 7 years & try to control it by diet but before one month i took my hb1ac test got 10.2 sugar level i started to take Zoryl M 1 and again took hb 1ac and got 8.2 level,now i also took pleator f with zoryl m1 for increase triglyceride.suggest me what will other tablet for reducing cholestrol and dibeties. ## I am also having fasting sugar level 165 and p.p.264 and I started taking Zoril M 1 one tab before my diiner and feeling better. Tazloc 40 with Amlovas 5
One of my relatives has been prescribed above combination of two drugs but he is having terrible skin itching problem . Does it relate to any drug combination . He also takes eltroxin ## I m 50 yrs now, a diabetic from 23 yrs, from the age of 27; on oral medicine for 12 yrs and gradually now on both, i.e Lantus 30 U + H. Mixtard 28 &16 U + Galvas met 50/500. I am also taking Tazloc 40 + Amlovas (2.5/12.5) each OD for Cholestrol as Also Lipicure 20 H/s. The above problems are in moderate control BUT In last few years I m badly effected by ED problem.
