I recently switched over to tri sprintec birth control. My husband and I have decided to start trying to have a baby. So I haven't completed a full pill packet cycle, and i havent been taking them at the same time each morning. As soon as we agreed to have a baby I stopped taking the pills immediately. I believe it was the first or second day of taking the white pill. Right now I'm towards the end of the packet. I have been having spotting this week. So my question is could I become pregnant if we are already trying, or do I have to wait for my ovulation? ## Hello, Angie! How are you? You can't get pregnant, until ovulation occurs and an egg is released to be fertilized. The spotting is most likely due to stopping the pills, because your body has to readjust your hormones on...

I am on Loestrin 28 day and was scheduled to get my period next week and will be going in vacation. I was suppose to start the brown inactive pills this coming Sunday but I started the brown pills on week three instead of week 4 just to bring on my period a week early. I've been on the pill for over 2 years and is there any possible risk associated with this kind of change. Oh and last month I skipped my period on purpose so technically I've been on the white active pills for 5 weeks straight and now I am on week 6 with the brown in active pills to try to get my period early. Please any advice with help. ## Hi, Deb! How are you? You should check with your doctor, to make sure it is safe for you to use them in this manner. But as long as you don't miss any active pills, then ...

I am scared of birth defects and would like to hear others stories. Please Ty Jo ## Hello, Jo! How are you? Congrats on the baby!! The FDA does list this medication as being in category C, which means risk has not been ruled out, but conversely, that means that it also hasn't been known to definitively cause any problems in people. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Can anyone that's taken it while pregnant chime in?

Is it bad for my baby? ## A multivitamin is very frequently prescribed for a woman who is pregnant, or wanting to become pregnant, because it is necessary to ensure that she takes in enough nutrients for both her and the baby. (Congratulations to those pregnant!) The FDA does warn that it may cause nausea, and constipation as side effects, due to its potency. How are you doing while taking it? Are you on any other medications? ## How's your baby? ## May i know if their is side effects for baby coz I am taking that too ## May i know if its bad for the baby coz I am taking that too

Does anyone know if i can have a baby, or any side effects? ## Hi Melissa, From what I could gather, prescribing information notes that you should try not to become pregnant whilst taking Fumaric Acid Esters (Fumaderm) and should use a reliable form of contraception during treatment and for one month after treatment. It also encourages you to please tell your doctor if you think you may be pregnant. The problem with Fumaderm is that it's unlicensed in the UK, so there isn't a lot of readily available information... Other reviews I've come across mention that they've conceived with no problems while taking this medication. So I can only assume that it effects each person differently. With that said, you should really speak with your Dermatologist about the risks v.s. bene...

I went to the clinic a week after my periods an I had the 1st injection (nur-istrate) after a week I experienced some meat coming out every morning when I pee, so I went back to the clinic hey told me that its some membrains .I couldn't believe it .what they did is,they never checked me before when they were injecting me ,they neglected that ,was I pregnant and would it impact on me falling preg again? ## No, it is normal to expel some tissue, along with irregular bleeding, according to NIH studies. I've experienced it myself, as have most other women, who experience a period. You don't just bleed, you also expel broken down tissue from the walls of your uterus. If you become pregnant, this tissue helps sustain the health of the baby by providing nourishment. And no, this wi...

My period was not regular. So as per dr's advice i am taking crimson 35tab. Is there any chance to get pregnant when taking crimson tab? ## Hi viji, Based on my research, the medication Krimson contains cyproterone acetate + ethinyl estradiol. To my knowledge, Krimson prevents ovulation and thickens the cervical mucus which means you most likely won't be able to conceive while taking this medication. It is often used to treat PCOD (Polycystic ovary syndrome), severe acne, and hursuitism in women... as well as androgenetic alopecia in some women. I recommend that you speak with your doctor if you're trying to conceive, he/she should be able to prescribe something to help you ovulate and become pregnant. Should i stop taking them now in my second month or should i continue right through the next month and then stop. ## This medication is actually used to help prevent pregnancy, taking it for a few months and then suddenly stopping will likely throw off your cycle for awhile, and prevent pregnancy, according to NIH reports. Usually, it is taken, under a doctor's direction, for a few months, then stopped and it can take about 3 months for your body to regulate your hormones, again, to see if you can become pregnant. However, once you are pregnant, your doctor may want you to switch to a different medication, because there may be some risks associated with taking it, while pregnant. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I just started taking birth control and it's been about 3 weeks now! My boyfriend came in me today. Coul I be pregnant? Help !!! Also I'm still bleeding ## Hi, Ashley! How are you? Did you start taking it on the first day of your period? If so, then you were immediately protected from pregnancy, because it prevents ovulation from occurring, unless you missed any pills. If you started later during your period, or at some other part of your cycle, then it becomes effective after 7 days. The bleeding can be a normal side effect, due to your body needing to get used to the hormones in these contraceptives, but you should consult your doctor to be certain. ## Yes I started the moment I saw that I was bleeding! I haven't been taking it at the exact same time though because I wasn...
