DUE TO ILLNESS AND HOSPITALIZATION my Dr has taken a leave of absence from practice cancelled all appointments and refused any refills. I am only on hydrocodone 10mg 5x daily. I have been suffering from abdominal pain for almost an year now and have visited numerous doctors, however the cause of my pain is still unknown as the results are normal most of the times. I'm 63 and was admitted 4 weeks ago to ICU in a Pretoria Hospital and for the first time was diagnosed with hi BP and irregular heart beat from 50 to 148 and a problem in the lower heart chambers. They repair a valve and Adco Bisocor 5mg was prescribe for the high BP and Arycor 200 for the irregular heart beat and Warfarin to regulate the blood thickness and Aspavor 20mg for cholesterol. My pain management PA put me on Presidone10 Mg five times today tampering it down by one pill a day for five days. I have renal function of 31 and was told by my renal dr not to take any pillsfor inflammation. I was given a shot of Lovenox after being admitted to the hospital. I had NEVER had Lovenox before. I felt just fine while sitting there talking to the nurse before the shot. I took Metoprolol Tart for 2 months, June - July 09 and my heart rate dropped drastically, admitted to hospital with chest pains, breathing difficulty, dizziness, disoriented, head ache, suicidal/homicidal thoughts, heart rate was 32 bpm. I was admitted in the hospital for 4 days, due to a severe reaction to poison ivy. Both of my legs were really swollen, red, painful, & hot to the touch. The doctors ran a complete CBC blood count & it was confirmed that my white blood count was high, my potassium was low, & that I also have an immune difficiency. They treated me with intravenous antibiotics & Methylprednisolone for 4 days. My husband has a dilaudid Medtronic pain pump and he is also taking methadone for breakthrough. I have stent promos xience 3.0×24 prox LAD since May of 2012. At that time my Dr prescribed Nikoran 5 mg and nicrocontin 2.6 mg. I was on 300 MG of lyrica for 5 weeks for nerve pain from my MS. It did work but 2 weeks ago I had 5 days of 4-5 seizures a day and was admitted to the hospital. After EEG. And video monitoring I was found to not have epileptic seizures The dr said it was from Lyrica and the seizures stopped after 2 days of being off of Lyrica. Have you heard of this? can methadon be taken with another pain pill ,ex. morphine ## Yes I have been on 150mg dose for about 6 years, I was admitted to the hospital for Pancreatitius and they gave me Haladol and Morphine for the pain, and I still took the Methadone each day. You can also take Hydrocodone, but be careful there are some pain pills that you can not take. ## Yes, Methadone can be taken with other analgesics, as long as your doctor approves, but it may negate the efficacy of some, especially depending on the dosage, and as was already stated, there are some it should not be taken with. I've been suffering from severe period pains, which also include vomitting and loss of apetite, for the past decade. I've even been admitted into hospital for the condition but I still didn't get any results. So decided to do some research on what I can do to stop them since they disrupt my daily life.
