Moved from Idaho to Western Oklahoma a few months ago. My pain management Dr in Idaho gave me 2 months of prescriptions to get me through until I find a new Dr. Things haven't gone as expected, shortly after getting here I was admitted into the hospital because of a post op infection on the deep brain stimulator I had implanted for essential tremor. The device was removed, 2 brain surgeries in 8 months, I've obviously been a little off. I have no medical insurance, ran out of pain medication that I have been on for 6 years for chronic pain, scoliosis, arthritis of the spine, protruding disk in my low back, disk degeneration of the neck, chronic tendinitis in my shoulder due to an abnormaly formed shoulder joint, chronic bursitis of the hip. I was admitted in the hospital for 4 days, due to a severe reaction to poison ivy. Both of my legs were really swollen, red, painful, & hot to the touch. The doctors ran a complete CBC blood count & it was confirmed that my white blood count was high, my potassium was low, & that I also have an immune difficiency. They treated me with intravenous antibiotics & Methylprednisolone for 4 days. My swelling, redness, & pain did subside however, I am uncertain as to whether my progress was because of the antibiotics or Methylprednisolone. I was discharged after the fourth day & prior to being released, I did inform my doctor & nurses that my entire family at home was sick with the flu. I woke the very next morning with a bad cold that turned into the flu which also...

I have been using Ferrimed for a long time, but my iron and blood deficiency became worse. I am always very tired, sleepy and listless. A specialist physician said I most probably have bleeding ulcers due to too much stomach acid. I repeatedly told him that I have NEVER had heart burn or acid reflux my whole life. I did not feel any pain whatsoever when he examined my stomach, etc. He admitted me to the hospital, where his rooms are, to have upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies. I gave thát doctor, beforehand, the same information that I gave the physician. Again I felt no pain when he examined my stomach, etc. Afterwards the procedures, he told my that I have bleeding ulcers. I never saw any "pictures" of the ulcers, and when I asked the rooms of both doctors, they...

I was on 300 MG of lyrica for 5 weeks for nerve pain from my MS. It did work but 2 weeks ago I had 5 days of 4-5 seizures a day and was admitted to the hospital. After EEG. And video monitoring I was found to not have epileptic seizures The dr said it was from Lyrica and the seizures stopped after 2 days of being off of Lyrica. Have you heard of this? I would like to restart it ad it helped but am a bit hesitant. The whole episode put me into an MS flare up also do am recovering from that too. Thanks ## Hello, JJ56! How are you? There are two possibilities as to the cause… Lyrica is actually an anticonvulsant, which means that conversely, it can sometimes cause seizures in some people that take it. The second possibility is that you accidentally missed one or more doses, because a...

can methadon be taken with another pain pill ,ex. morphine ## Yes I have been on 150mg dose for about 6 years, I was admitted to the hospital for Pancreatitius and they gave me Haladol and Morphine for the pain, and I still took the Methadone each day. You can also take Hydrocodone, but be careful there are some pain pills that you can not take. ## Yes, Methadone can be taken with other analgesics, as long as your doctor approves, but it may negate the efficacy of some, especially depending on the dosage, and as was already stated, there are some it should not be taken with. 14 years on zoloft. weaned off slowly .. was finally off for aprx 2 mo. maybe less. suddenly at er then admitted. dry mouth severe, with bizzare behavior? what would treatment be? no history of any mental illnes. was put on it for IBS pain in 1996- 2010 ## Hello, Leah! How are you? Did they directly tie it to the cessation of the Zoloft? It would be very odd for something like to happen 2 months after stopping it. And the treatment would depend on the cause of the episode, it's difficult to even guess from just the limited information in your posts. What did the hospital do? Is there a chance the person took anything else?
