hi, i'm taken Norco 10/325 have been was taken vicodin 5.7/750 for the past 7 yrs, they worked pretty good for me then the doc changed it to Norco 10/325's say they stopped maken vicodin, cuz of the problem's with ppl die from to much tylonal in it. the Norco dosent seem to work very good for me it last 4 hrs. iv asked my dctor is there anything a bit stronger in the Norco , but she tells me no!. im at my wits end . the pain gets so bad to wear im passing the house ,can't sleep ,sometimes for days!!. My doctor gave me norco 10/81 is it as stonge or stronger than norco 10/325? ## Based on my research there is no such thing as "norco 10/81". However it if really does exist, then it would essentially be weaker than 10/325 (hence 325 is larger number than 81). Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs.They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). I have been taking norco over the years from Watson. A couple of years ago my prescription changed to Tris I have realized over the last several refills the effects of relief are not constant as with the watsons, even within the own bottle some are strong some are not Walgreens said they dont carry Watson any longer. I was on the yellow 10/325. They claimed all they did is just took out the dye. I've been on this dose for years and I guess they thought I was an i**** because they put me on a Norco 10/325 ip 110. I noticed right away they were much weaker. I don't want to have to take more but the reality is they are weaker than the yellow ones. I've taken gabapentin,norco, and then oxycodone. I was taken off the oxycodone recently because I was talking the max six pills a day and my pain was still unbearable. I have five bulging disc and a pinched nerve in my back. I have spinal stenosis. This has caused pain throughout my left side down to my feet. I'm also a diabetic with nerve damage. This is to answer the question is there a higher dose form of norco the answer is yes it's called Zohydro it was made here in San Diego and has been approved by the Fda and Sea but it might be hard to find and the insurance company might not cover it, it's and extended version kinda like oxycontin for oxycodone and it comes in different doses. which colors are strongest to weakest? white, yellow, or peach ## The yellow and white oblong tablets imprinted with NORCO over 539 on one side and blank on the other, reportedly contain a dosage of 10/325. I think the white version might've came after the yellow one, but both seem to carry the same National Drug Code of 52544-0539. I also located a peach and/or white oblong tablet with NORCO over 729 imprinted on one side and blank on the back that reportedly contain a dosage of 7.5/325. Lastly, there's a smaller 5mg/325mg Norco tablet that's white with red specks; imprinted with WATSON on one side and 913 on the other. Hope this helps!

Do I put patch on and continue to take my norco till the fentanyl patch gets in to my system at full strength? I take two nor ps 10-325 every 6 hrs and they wear off at 4-5 hrs so pain comes on strong. I've read that it takes 12 to 24 hours for fentanyl to reach its peak so till it kicks it will I be safe to take reg dose of norco? Do not want to go to sleep and not wake up!
