So recently I received a white Watson 853 that looks identical to the yellow ones; size, shape, imprint. Everything checks out except it does not feel as strong as the yellow. I was then told that Watson is not manufacturing yellow ones anymore so I checked the Watson/actavis website. They had no info on white 853. Are these fake? ## Hi Michael, Where a bouts did you get the pill from? If you didn't purchase it from an authorized seller, you could most definitely have a counterfeit. The only other thing I can think of, is that it may just be an old version that is no longer on the market. I'm not sure why ppl are having different reactions but i myself have taken hydrodone almost 16 yrs now for MS. then developed AML also . I've had every form of it. i know the exact feeling i get starting with in my head,chest ,stomach ,etc as it's working . these are hydro. they're actually stronger than the yellow I've took 6yrs. it actually made me sick first dose cz I'm used to taking 2at time ,so did with these. only question i have is why do they start dissolving immediately in my mouth &why do they taste so strong ?? White Watson 853 not near as strong as the yellow ones. WTF has changed? I know I used to take about 5-6 doses per day of yellow tablets. Now with the whites, I'd need to double or even triple my dose to get the same relief?! You tell me they're the same?? Bull... I couldn't take that many of the yellows if I wanted to. If I had to guess, coming from someone that took these everyday, is that the white ones are like half the strength as the yellow ones. No way they are the same. Don't care what the box says. I have both M360 and Watson 853 pills. I'm not exactly sure if the are the same of if one is stronger. ## The tablet marked M360 contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen and the tablet marked Watson 853 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. These are both different strengths of the active ingredients in Vicodin, or Lortab, which are narcotic pain relievers. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. The tablet with the WATSON 540 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. So, they both contain the same amount of the active narcotic, Hydrocodone, but they do not contain the same amount of Acetaminophen, which improves the effect of the narcotic. The Watson yellow 853 Hydrocodone are stronger than the white ones. As each of you know taken these neither are really strong compared to other types of pain pills. I have Fibro, along with so much more. I have a MVP heart problem so if these pills were strong I could not take them,. Some days I Can hardly move. I recently was thrown from my horse and have pretty bad pain. My tailbone was broken in three places.
