I have been taking 4 10/325 Percocet daily plus 100mcq Fentanyl patch every 48 hrs.My Doc changed me to 15mg morphine IR every 6hrs as needed,I can not feel hardly any difference in pain relief should I? ## Hello, Tom! If this holds true and I did the math correctly, then 7.5mg of Oxycodone would be equal to about 11.25mg of Morphine (7.5 x 1.5 =11.25); and 10mg of Oxycodone would be equal to about 15mg of Morphine (10 x 1.5 =15). The addition of Acetaminophen in Percocet would probably top the 15mg of Morphine if you were prescribed the 10/325 dosage form. I hope this makes sense!? The strongest pain killer in pill form is the OXYCONTIN 80mg or the morphine sulphate 150mg.It sounds like you are in agony May i suggest that if you are taking up to ten percs a day then you should be careful and your doctor is not doing you any good bye prescribing this will destroy your liver.I don't know how much pain you get from Lyme disease but I am on fentanyl 150mcg every 2 days I have been on the patch for near ten years.Before that it was perks,Oxycontin 80mg two tabs three times a day and i became so addixcted i walked into a hospital and the doctor saved my life I have not taken any pain killers pill form in over 5years no lies.I am much much healthier but my pain is daily I already have had spinal surgery and more will be needed sometime in the future.I can tell you if...

I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. They have now changed it to Oxycodone 15 mg but doesn't seem to help. Is Oxycodone 15 stronger than the Percocet 10/650? I am NOT looking for drugs and the high that some give. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminphen. There is a Oxycodone Oral Solution. There is 5 mg in every 5 ml. A dr isn't going to prescribe Oxycodone Oral Solution to replace Percocet unless he believes it is in the best interest of the patient. I've been taking 240 Percocet 10/325 for over 10 yrs with 60 mg MS Contin twice a day for breakthrough pain. I've been taking Norco 10/3.25 for years for severe chronic pain--It's now no longer effective at all--I'm wondering about changing to Percocet 10/3.25 and whether this would be a stronger, more effective and longer lasting med to take--I've tried also Oxy.10 mg. hcl and they work so so and notice I need to take way more often than I ever did with Norco. I have used methadone to come off of percocets before, but it was at a way lower dose.. I thought and was told morphine is stronger than percocet but I got more relief from the percocet than I do from the morphine. I am seeing a pain management doctor right now she has me on 15 milligrams of oxycontin the extended relief. I called her and told her that it was not working and she said the next time I come in maybe that she would up the dosage. I've been experiencing headaches major mood swings.
