I just got prescribed hydrocodone-acetaminophn 10-325 I have never felt like this b4 takin them, they make me sick and I can barely walk keep my eyes open stop throwing up or atleast have the sensation to throw up... I'm shaking and itchy everywhere is this a stronger form Perhaps idk what it is but I'm in pain and really do not want to take them someone of u can please inform me of the highest dosage an lowest so I can see if maybe they can just lower the dosage or what not-- thank you ## The ones you are taking do have the strongest dose of Hydrocodone in them, at 10mgs, but there are lower dosages available. I have a bulging disc at L2 and its pressing on my spinal cord nerve which is very painful. I have a primary care, very conservative, and she gave me hydrocodone 5 mg until I can see neurosurgeon. Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. i'm on ocycontin 60mg 4xs daily my break through pain med is either hydrocodone 10-650 or oxycodone w acetaminophen 5-325 which is more effective for pain relief i have to chose one ## At that narcotic dosage, 10mgs of Hydrocodone, versus 5mgs of Oxycodone, they are roughly equivalent. The only way to see which one may be more effective for you is to actually try one of them and see how it works. The Hydrocodone option does have more Acetaminophen in it. so you may also want to base your decision on how concerned you are about that, since it can cause some stomach problems. The first number that you listed is the amount of the narcotic, the Hydrocodone and the second is the Acetaminophen. So, one of the contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen and the other 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and 325mgs of the Acetaminophen.
