I'd like to offer as much advice and support as I can, but I do see that part of your post is written in english and the other part appears to be written in fillipino language. If you speak fluent english would you be so kind as to post back with the same details in this language so that I can understand the entirety of your post instead of bits and pieces here and there? I appreciate you taking the time to do this, and hopefully it will also open the door for others to add their advice as well. In t...

I've recently discovered Microscopy. My insurance pays for it and it is available, but is likely to prevent disease and complications - so it isn't widely recommended by doctors. Microscopy means that a culture is grown on a petri dish to discover the disease causing bacteria. An antibiotics is then prepared to effectively kill the particular bacteria. This reduces use of antibiotics and helps maintain health and digestion. Some microscopy requires only spitting into a container - which is much easier than the blood tests that look for antibodies or general infections. It doesn't cost much and saves the insurance companies money - because it is less invasive and will protect health.

When I should use pot cl and what are the benefits? ## Hi, Abdo! This is just a potassium supplement, it is vital to our overall health and a deficiency in it can cause quite a few health issues, such as high blood pressure, elevated heart rate and irregular heart rhythm. However, you shouldn't take it, unless your doctor has actually done a blood test and told you that you need to take it, because too much of it can also be very dangerous. Did your doctor prescribe this for you? ## I was prescribed pot cl micro 10 meg along with water pill. Now that I'm not taking the water pill I've been still taking the potassium since August. What danger am in. I feel something going on ## Can I crush these very large tablets?

How many should a 78 year old female take daily. ## Hi, Rick! This is a prescription potassium supplement, so she should only be taking it if her doctor has instructed her to do so and then only in the prescribed amount each day. Low potassium can be dangerous, since it is vital to heart function, as well as quite a few other body functions, but too much can be just as dangerous. It also needs to be swallowed whole and preferably taken with a small meal, since it can be very irritating to the stomach. How much is she taking?

I'm trying to identify an oval peach colored pill with KD on one side and 113 on the other from Korea... ## Hello Jr, Fortunately I was able to identify the pill as a Micronized purified flavonoid fraction 500mg (MPFF) pill. Due to it being a korean pill I was not able to read much of what the manufacturer writes about this specific brand of medication, however, here is some information I was able to pull up on the United States equivalent. This is an oral venoactive drug, which consists of 90% micronized diosmin and 10% flavonoids expressed as hesperidin, diosmetin, linarin, and isorhoifolin. According to one MPFF manufacturers website this drug does the following. - increases resistance in capillaries and decreases its permeability - stimulates outflow of lymph and capillaries pro...

Guanfacine Hydrochloride, 2mg. How much does the total pill weigh? I'm trying to figure out precisely what percentage of it is guanfacine. ## @Ryan, It sounds to me like you may have to invest in a scale in order to best determine the weight. All of the drug monographs I've seen for this particular pill made by Actavis don't really go into much detail other than the size (8mm), shape (round), color (orange), and imprint (WATSON 453). i was perscribed 50,000 iu of iron one day a week pill. How much is this in mg? The perscription is for 5 months. ## Hi Faye, I find that really odd that your doctor said 50,000 IU, as Iron is not measured in international units, but rather milligrams or mcg. Generally, international units are used to measure "vitamins" such as A, C, E, D, etc...and not used for "minerals" such as iron. 1 IU vitamin A = 0.3 mcg (micrograms) 1 IU vitamin D = 0.025 mcg 1 IU vitamin E = 0.7 mcg as d-alpha tocopherol The translation from IU to micograms or milligrams is different for every vitamin; and as far as I know there is no converting measurement for Iron to go from mcg or mg to IU; or vise versa. Does anyone else have any information to share regarding this?
