Can i buy them over the counter ## Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge, even though Ibuprofen is an OTC drug, I think the 800mg dose on the pill you're describing is considered to be prescription strength and therefore may not be available over-the-counter. Have you checked prices at your local pharmacy? I'm sure the cost varies place by place. The National Drug Code (NDC) for this specific pill is: 55111-0684. The generics are of course much cheaper, and reflect less than a quarter of that price for 120 tablets. But I'd imagine the price will be different in other locations. I hope this helps!

I had Reclast before under other insurance, the pamphlet Dr. gave me said it would cost me $60.
