Am having knee replacements soon, had RNY so can't take any anti-inflammatories. Have been taking 1/2 of a 5-325 for pain made by Qualitest & have a V on one side & 3604 on other. Tablets are scored so can break easily. No problem with stomach. Latest Rx are same color but say Watson on one side and 3202 on other side and, though they are scored to break in half, are really hard to break..sometimes breaking into several pieces. Also, have had ulcer and stomach really burns, especially when I break the tablet into two parts. Could it be the fillers? ## Yes, there could be a filler that's causing more stomach acid. Have you talked to your doctor about possibly taking them with an antacid? As to breaking them, it would be much easier if you got a pill cutter, they are avail...

Amneal manufactured, Hydrcodone- Apap 5-325 doesn't work as well as V 3604 or Watson 349. Any idea why? ## Hi Jane, I think I can help answer your question here. One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. Aside from that, subtle differences in the "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers) could also impact the absorption/overall efficacy of the medication. Put two and two together and you pretty much have a different medication than what you may be used to taking. I hope this info helps! Have you tried any ...

How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone. Is that the correct medication? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## The white tablets help with pain in hands and other places. Unsure why pink speckled does not work as well.. It is a very low dose... Cannot take sleeping pills. Cannot sleep without pain ...

Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin. The V stands for Vintage Pharmaceuticals, they were purchased by Qualitest several years ago and there are many pills with the V logo that don't contain narcotics of any type. Additionally, Norco is just a name brand for a certain combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone….while it was originally ones that just contained 325mgs of Acetaminophen, with several doses of the Hydrocodone, since it is available as a generic now, they are pretty much all just us...
