I've been on 2mg xanax BID, somaqQID, and Lortab QID for about 2.5 yrs plus. My tolerence to the xanax is goign up, so that got me interested in the XRs. Also, are there really 3mg BARS? b/c i've had the green bars and it is absolutely confirmed it's 2mg xaniez. ## Yes, there is a Xanax XR 3mg available, since it is an extended release, it is usually only taken once a day. Have you discussed this issue with your doctor? You may need to just try a different medication. ## I've never seen them but have been told that they're 3mg Xanax that look like green triangles

My girlfriend died from aspirating on vomit from xanax and i'm trying to find out how much she might have taken for such a fatal dose? ## Hello, Burlington! How are you doing? I am so very sorry for your loss. But such a death would not be directly attributed to the amount of Xanax she took, but rather just to the fact that she likely took too much, passed out and then got sick, so she choked. Thus, there is no answer that I can really give you on how much would have been required, because it can vary from person to person. She could have taken 3 or 4, or as many as 20 to 30. Did the coroner do an autopsy? If so, were there any toxicology reports?

I am wanting to taper off safely from using 6mg of xanax bars a day. I am addicted and went through the worse withdrawals when I couldn't find my last 9 left in my bottle as well as my bottle missing. Dr states they are equal. 1 mg clonazapam is to 1 mg of Xanax . Totally different He stopped 2 mgs a day without any concern of withdrawal because he gave me 3 mg a day of clonazapam. I found some 3 scored "xanax".On 1 side there is a 5 in each bar. On the other side the first square has a TV in it. 2Nd squre is blank and 3 square has either a 1003 or 100B (hard to tell).
