what are the symtoms after an overdose of lantis my mom had 6 life threatining low of 20 or less in 4 days rushed to hospital 2 times doctors not absolutly sure what caused lows but to much lantis is suspected what do you think? ## It is very hard to say, since none of us are doctors and do not know your mother's medical history, nor what other drugs she was taking. The Lantus may have caused it, even without an overdose, if she was very sensitive to it, on the other hand, it could have been caused by her not eating properly, being sick or many other possibilities. ## I usually take 23 units of lantis at night. I think I just gave myself double the dose. Should I go to the E.R.? Also, I take humalog throughout the day.

hello this morning i woke up and took my medication of urbanol 10mg atleast thats what i think. i have been suffering from memory loss since young and so forgot if i took it so 3 hours later i took another one just incase i didn't i suffer from a lot of mood swings depression and many other things so if i skip on dose it can mess my whole day up but now i am currently feeling very weird cannot explain it so now if i did take this med twice even if not remembering what am i supposed to do and what side effects am i going to get

Please help me. I am trying to read my daughter's anatomical pathology and blood toxicology report. She was 44 and had been struggling with a drug problem .On the report it states she was using multiple drugs. One drug she had been prescribed to and not found in her system was Adderall. She had ran out of that maybe a week before she passed. what the report says on blood toxicology positive finding were alprazolam 34 ng/ml in blood , (she was perscribed to rake 4 -1mg a day) oxycodone 17 ng/ml and also oxymorphone 14 ng/ml . How can a doctor prescribe so many and every know and then she takes to many and it makes her a zombie and she doesn't even realise that we can see it. I took 3 . 35 mgs morphine pills , i got a severe head ache and felt like if I was going to burn up inside. Did I took too much ? ## Hello, Chuck! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Why did you take so many? And what dosage was it, there is no 35 or .35mg Morphine tablets. But if you aren't tolerant to it, taking multiple pills could definitely risk an overdose, the signs for that would be extreme sedation, dizziness, extreme drowsiness and shallow breathing.

I have taken 8 valuims at once what could happen ## The most likely outcome is you would sleep for hours and hours then wake up groggy. I'm not a doctor but when I used to get migraines I'd take 5-6 sometimes (because it eliminated the migraine) and wake up groggy. Who know though? You could also suffer organ damage. My 28 year old son recently died. I only gave him the smallest amount, 3 half a milligram tablets sublingually along with the clonazepam and lorazepam as prescribed. his toxicology report showed he had 21 L. he never got out of bed after 6 p.m. the following day I found him dead in his bed at 7 o'clock in the morning. Would you consider a 20mg dose of Oramorph (a first dose) to be excessive, in a 93 year old person with a history of many medical problems, including COPD? The person had never been given it before, and was given 90mg in 9 hours, when it was then necessary to administer Naxolone. It was given for stomach pain. What could be the possible outcome of this dose? ## Yes its excessive 2.5mg more usual and even then used in caution with elderly esp with copd. My cousin overdosed on glycomet.... He was found dead.. Could this be because of glycomet? I was just prescribed 2mg dilaudid & i took 20 of themhand still feel nothing? Wtf. ## Why did you take so many at once? Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, which is a very potent narcotic and by taking so many there is a very serious risk of overdose, which could be fatal. 2 weeks ago my daughter took an over dose of 40 Risperdol tablets She pulled through but is off balance, from time to time very bad memory most of the time she cannot remember what she is doing or want to say or do, blured visioen even with her contact lenses or glasses and very tired. Is this long term effects or will it improve over time. ## What has her doctor said about it? Risperdal is very potent, so taking that many tablets means she had to have taken a very large amount, thus it is possible that some of the damage may be permanent. Some may improve with time, but there is really no way for anyone on here to say, since this site is not familiar with her medical history and prognosis.

She took 20 round blue xanax, 10 25 mg Promethazine and 2 50 mg Pristique that I know of for sure, Tuesday between 3:30 and 9:30 PM. At 5 AM Wednesday her BP was 134/35 and heart rate of 115. Her BP is now 140/94. She has fallen, cannot stand alone, wet the bed once and wet on the floor once. She has no insurance and resisted, strongly, going to the ER.
