Okay maybe you guys can help me with this I got my wisdom teeth removed today and they prescribed me percocets but it does not say how many mgs they are my mom went in to fill the prescription and used an old prescription bottle to fill it to save her 1 dollar lol so it does not say on the bottle. I have been changed from 140mgs oxycodone to 40 x 2 mgs Oxycontin. I had so much more pain control with the Oxycodone but doc wants me on a ER medication and one for breakthrough. I feel a huge difference with the Ocycontin, not in a good way. Would like to go back to what I was taking as the relief was superior. The Oxycontin I barely feel any relief. How can that be? I just had knee surgery may 3rd.I had Hydromorphone and ran out and because of the slow healing process that i am experencing,My Doc gave me hydrocodone 5/325's.He said to take 1-2 every for pain,but it doesn't seem to be working.Should I wait a while longer to see if it does.I DON'T want to take very high does of acedaminophin because of liver damage. ## You can take Ibprofin with this. ## You are correct to worry about taking too much of the Acetaminophen, not only does it risk liver damage, but it can be toxic if you take too much of it in a day. Dr states they are equal. 1 mg clonazapam is to 1 mg of Xanax . Totally different He stopped 2 mgs a day without any concern of withdrawal because he gave me 3 mg a day of clonazapam. I take morphine 60 mg 2 at a time it has a m on one side 60 on other. I know it's extended release but how much do u get at a time and how long does it last? Is 5 to 6 (30 mg) Oxycodone pills what your doctor prescribed to you? I'm not exactly sure how many grams of Oxycodone will equal 2 (60 mg) Morphine pills, however I do know that Oxycodone is 1.5 times stronger than Morphine. I took 3 . 35 mgs morphine pills , i got a severe head ache and felt like if I was going to burn up inside. Did I took too much ? ## Hello, Chuck! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Why did you take so many? And what dosage was it, there is no 35 or .35mg Morphine tablets. But if you aren't tolerant to it, taking multiple pills could definitely risk an overdose, the signs for that would be extreme sedation, dizziness, extreme drowsiness and shallow breathing.

I have a Spinal Injury (Cervical and Lumbar) Va Doctor Treated. Was on Percacet 5/325 for 4 years, Dr. placed on Oxycodone 15mg for 16 months. Switched VA facilities and new doctor has Opiate concerns and switches me before even reviewing my records because of her belief of no Opiate treatments to 5mg Oxycodone(Tolerance levels made them like aspirin) stating additional Insaids and Anti-inflammatory should do the job. After 9 months and many conversations, she still says she is concerned about Opiate abuse and will not increase me because of addiction fears.
