I am advised to take regestrone 5mg, 15 tabs 3 times a day for 5 days to regulate my periods. After how many days will I have my periods from the day I finish the course? I finished the course on Jan 18th and now it's Jan 28th. Do I still have to wait more days before checking? ## You period should start within 1 to 3 days of stopping the tablets. The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. My periods got 7 days late so I took advise from my friend and had 3 tabs of susten 100mg for 3 days. Then after 2 3 days doctor advised me take Regestrone 5m for 5 days. Now it's 4 days after stopping the tab still I have no periods. Always my periods are irregular but if i take regestrone for 3 days i get my periods. I have pcos and now i am married its been 2 and months since i got my periods i had pregnancy test which was negative can i still take regestrone... already consulting doctor i am taking ovacare fopymin daily and caberlin 0.5 once in a week ## My gyn gave me Regestrone 5mg Tablet for 3 days to take morning & evening. I am 21 yrs old. My regular period time is 27-30 days.Now 24days on the date of my marriage. So I have consulting with my doctor. I have pcos, 26yrs, i m already taking glyciphage 250mg(metformin) for 5months 3 times a day,my periods delayed by 64 days, so a near by physician suggested regestrone 5mg 2 times a day for 5 days, i m overweight, after many diet n excercise my weight doesn't reduce, will that cure my pcos and reduce my weight... how many cycles shud i take this medicine to completely get rid of pcos... will that have any side effects... also my doc said to have ETOSYS to stop periods if i have excess bleeding... will that have any side effect
