I have RSD in both legs due to several back surgeries. I was diagnosed in 1993 and have lived in pain for many years. My question is, I was doing pretty good with hydrocodone, Tylenol (7.5/3.25) ev 4 hrs. Even missing a dose every now and then, my RSD was mostly under control. I was changed to pill form (10/3.25) ev 6 hrs and ever since then (3 days ago), I have been in severe pain, in my legs and now under my feet. What made the difference? My pharmacist will not get the liquid form for me due to the cost to them. I may have to go out of town to get it. We live in a small town. ## Your pain might be do to the change in dosage timing, since you went from 4 hours to 6 hours, but it is hard to say. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, c...

I take hydrocodine 10 mg for break thru pain along with morphine 60mg.I had some of my morphine pills stolen and i am afraid to report it cause i believe it was a family member..how many hydrocodone 10mg can i take to equal 60 mg if morphine...please answer as i am running out of my morphine. ## Morphine and Hydrocodone are basically equivalent in strength, so 60mgs of one would equal 60mgs of the other. However, if you are talking about a generic for Vicodin, that contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, then it isn't really going to be safe to take 6 of the pills, several times a day, to equal the Morphine. Doing so will cause you to take high levels of Acetaminophen, which may be toxic. Learn more Morphine details here. Learn more Vicodin details here. In all honesty, if you have ...

How many mgs is M363 hydrocodone. I have some from long time of ago and I dont remember what the mgs are. ## At this time, the tablet with the M 363 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, Norco or Lortab. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Vicodin details here. And to add an additional note for anyone that may be viewing this post at a later date… The FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of the prescription combination medications that combine it with a narcotic be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs. The reason this is being done is due to the risk o...

I have a pretty big tolerance and took thought that I needed to take around 10 to feel anything I then looked it up and am not sure if I should get help ## Hello, Dave! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Believe it or not, the biggest concern from taking that many is due to the Acetaminophen, not the narcotic Hydrocodone. Exceeding 3,000mgs of Acetaminophen in a day may cause liver damage, liver failure and risks fatal toxicity. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Medications shouldn't be taken just in the hopes of feeling something. If that's why you take something, then you may have a problem that needs...

Taking it for 3 yrs, back pain getting worse on 2 per day. The state is clamping down on opioids. What could my doctor prescribe for me at this point? ## Even with the clamp downs going on, your doctor can still prescribe necessary medications, they just have to be careful how much they prescribe and make sure there is a legitimate reason for the patient to need them. If the person has a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer, such restrictions set forth by the DEA, exclude them. Too many doctors were prescribing pain medications, without verifying that a patient had a real reason to need them. The tablet you've mentioned is the 5/325mg dosage, so if your doctor things it may help, there is a 7.5/325mg dose and a 10/325mg that they could prescribe for you. The FDA classifies...

I just got back from wallGreens in yonkers and they would not fill my prescription on hydrocodone 150qty 10 -660 .They told me there is a new law I can only get 120quanity per month of me hydrocone10-660.Is this really a new law? thanks ## It may be because of the Tylenol, depending on how you're suppose to take it. The FDA had recommended that max amount of Tylenol in 24 hrs be no more than 4,000 mgs. The only New Law governing Hydrocodone is in New York and it went into effect at the end of Feb 2013. It states that all hydrocodone combination products are now Schedule II. Which means no refills and it can't be called in. ## The law regarding the quantity actually isn't a new one, it was just not being enforced. However, in light of the ever increasing rates of theft, abuse...

I got hydrocodone but the bottle says to throw way after 10.2008, can I still take them? ## I have taken hydrocodone off and for about six years and the last two, every day. In high school I started taking them for fun and when I hurt my back and had surgery when I was nineteen I began taking then consistantly for pain management. I am now 24 years old going in a month from now for a second surgery. I am perscribed to take 6-8 10/325 hydros a day but as many follow this dark path like myself, I take more then I should because I like the way they make me feel. I am ashamed to post, even though my identity is private, that I frequently take 10-12 of these pills in one handfull to get high because I have built such a tolerance over the years and I need to take atleast five at once just to ...

Why can my DR. not prescribe the HYdrocodone apap 10/660 .reason being i was on it for about 7 years with no side affects and could stop taking it anytime with no problems. The narco 10/325 i have to take twice as many to git the same results, and have constipation problems. ## In Jan 2014, the FDA required manufactuers to limit the amount of tylenol in prescription meds to no more than 325 mgs. They no longer make a med rx with 660 mg tylenol. ## @Rocky, BL is right about the new law limiting the amount of acetaminophen to 325mgs. However to my knowledge there are safer alternatives to acetaminophen (such as Curcumin/Turmeric root) with studies showing that it's as effective as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs but without side effects when taken as directed. So if that...

i have been taking hydrocodone 10 apap 325 since 1988 for blotched back surgery. I received my months supply and i am hurting like hell. The pill says m367 on it. Could this be a placebo. this pill has always given me some relief. ## Hello, Gene! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. No, it would actually be illegal for your pharmacy to replace your validly prescribed medication with a placebo. This tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, having been on it for so many years, your body could be building up tolerance to it and you may need to switch ...

is it hard to get off this pill i am taking 4 day for my back ## The active narcotic in this, Hydrocodone, can be habit forming, even when it's not abused, but it will really depend on how long you've been taking it. If you haven't been on it for many months or years, then any possible withdrawal effects should be minimal, but can include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and drowsiness, as well as rebound pain. I have been taking norco 10/325 yellow oval pill for a few years but yesterday what I got was different they were white oblong pills which says hyd/apap 10/325 mg tab amnea on it and the numbers on the tablet are G 037. Are they the same? The norco always worked very well but these white tabs don't seem as strong or work as well. ## Yes, they are the same, the tablet with the G 037 on it has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Tris Pharma. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How many have you taken, so far?

Although many have said one drug is the same as the other I find that Qualitest hydrocodone 10/325 seems to not affect me as far as making me drowsy and extremely tired. It does so help with the pain but it does not make me so I can not function. The other manufacturer Mallincor (spelling not right) their hydrocodone makes me so tired I have to literally go to bed. Strange I think that if two drugs are identical how can they have different effects to you. I prefer to not take any hydrocodone but until I am through this pain I prefer to take the one that does not comatose me. ## While they contain the same active ingredients, there can be fluctuations in the amount of them that are in generic medications, additionally, the inactive ingredients can be entirely different. Thus, the one fro...

I also have taken this med for years, I am out of town and got my meds filled at a pharmacy where we are visiting, never have heard of aurobindo, noticing right away dizziness and being overly tierd, all my disabilities hurt like I haven't taken anything, this really sucks. When I return home I will request to my doctor to replace these for me and surrender these, go through this the rest of the month??? No thanks, can't function like this at all. I am VERY thankfull you were here to support the fact it's not just me going through this. Shameful really. ## Unfortunately yes, many people have been complaining about this product from Aurobindo. Not all, but a large number of people have had issues with it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit form...

Please tell me if watson has a white 10/325?? I only had the yellow one's.. Are they real? ## Actually, Watson has recently been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to people being allergic or sensitive to them. Thus, several of their products are now white. However, if you received it from an approved U.S. pharmacy and it has the same markings, then it is still the correct medication. Learn more Lortab details here. You should be aware, however, that there have also been reports from some that they don't seem to work the same and aren't as effective. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes they are white now. I just had to call the pharmacy to make sure I was given the right prescription. ## JG are they working fine for you? I have my white now, and I do...

I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. Is there any truth to this or what is the problem? ## Nok that is not true, if you receive them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, everything they dispense must meet the same FDA efficacy standards. It is warned that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and ...

Did waston quit making the green 10/650?this is what my pharmacist told me when I got my last script, gave me a flat white pill that does nothing to relieve my pain. ## HI, Flash! Sorry that you're so miserable, I do understand. There are actually two issues at play here…. The first is that Watson had some issues with customers being sensitive/allergic to the dyes in their products, so they have been changing them to remove the dyes and, while they claim that is the only change that's been made, many people are complaining that they are no longer effective at treating pain. The second issue is that due to concerns over overdose toxicity and the possibility of liver damage from long term use of high amounts, the FDA has requested that all manufacturers lower the amount of Ac...

Hi I was getting the yellow 10 mlg that say v 3601 but now I have the same pill except it's white instead of yellow. Is this the same pill please help! Thanks. ## White tablet, v 3601 is Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg ## I haven't seen this in white yet, however, many companies have recently been removing the dye in their tablets, due to the problems some people have had with being sensitive to, or allergic to the dyes being used. Learn more Lortab details here. However, if you received it from a legitimate pharmacy in the U.S. and the marking is the same, then it is probably safe to assume that the dye has just been removed. But if you're unsure, feel free to double check with your pharmacy, they shouldn't have a problem with checking it for you. Are there a...

i take oxycodone 10/325 3x day, oxy 12 extended 2x day, and a few other meds. I hate so many meds. Pain is still in effect some days better , or worse. My question is how harmful are these to my body? Diluadid works better with less to take. honest which is worse? Some days I rather hurt than take it all. ## None is worse or more harmful than another, they are all opiate narcotics, as classified by the FDA, so they carry the possibility of causing the same risks, the same side effects; such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation, and all also carry the risk of being habit forming. The amount of harm, of course, depends on whether or not you abuse them, or take them as prescribed, unless you're allergic to one of them and suffer a bad reaction from that, as detai...

Is Hydrocodone Apap 10/325 good for pain? ## That would be the narcotic Hydrocodone, and 10mgs is the most you can get these in, and Acetaminophen 325mgs, A narcotic analgesic. The APAP is just doc and pharmacy speak for Acetaminophen, sometimes these are prescribed to have the Aceta help with pain and inflammation, otherwise, it pretty much just helps them keep the drug on a prescription controlled substance schedule III or IV. There are considered generics for meds such as Anexsia, Hydrocet, Lortab and many others. Hydo and Apap Info Click Here

If u take 500 mg of hydrocodone. How many 1.5 's would you have to take to make it near 500 ## The most Acetaminophen that a tablet that is prescription can have in it now is 325 mg. Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen comes in 3 strengths, Hydrocodone 10/Acetaminophen 325, Hydrocodone 7.5/Acetaminophen 325 and Hydrocodone 5/Acetaminophen 325. ## @Rest, I've never heard of anyone taking 500mgs of Hydrocodone, except throughout the duration of an entire monthly or bi-weekly script (i.e. if you took two 7.5mg tablets [15mg] a day for 33 days, you'd be at 495 mgs)... but for the sake of answering the question at hand, if you were to simply divide 500mg by 1.5mg, it would come out to roughly 333 1.5mg doses - Something that would have to require a patient to divide their 5mg pills into 1/...
