I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay? ## I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. What would overdose symptoms be. Could 50 mg over 2 1/2 to 3 hours possibly be fatal? Should I go to the hospital? I have tried (with no success) self induced vomiting to no avail. Man I had four different genetic brands. Now taking alvogen 10 325. Percocet 10. man no wonder there so many people killing themselves. everyones genetic med r different. Where in Las Vegas do I find percocet 10/650. I got it from emergency and no one carries it! Why would an er room write it if it doesn't existing ## It does exist, or I guess I should say that it did up until this point, but the changes going on may be what's making it hard to find and, if that is the case, it isn't the fault of the ER doctor that wrote the prescription or the pharmacies. Hi, it's Kel again. I wrote earlier but now I am here with a different topic amd would like some opinions. I was recently switched (2 days ago actually) from being on Percocet 10-325 4xd to MSContin 15er & Percocet 7.5 4xd for BT. My Dr. was going to go ahead & start me at 60 mg of the MSContin and take my Percocet down. I freaked out due to just beinh another "new" drug. I habe to many chronic conditions to write but I can honestly say I am about to have 2 major surgies. And he is wanting me to get that Neuro Implant device. Generally generics just use different non-active ingredients, and don't have the brand name. ## In response to what Kitty mentioned about generics and non generics being just as strong, this may be true when you compare 10/325 to 10/325, but in my experience certain inactive ingredients can hinder the bioavailability of the very active ingredients they are mixed with (i.e. not getting properly metabolized). This could theoretically result in one of the 10/325 tablets (usually tends to be the generic version) feeling more like a 7.5/325 or even a 5/325; which is what many patients have come on here complaining about in other related disc...

I am taking oxycodo-APAP 10-325 ,a generic for Percocet. It is an oval shape withM523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. My Dr. said I could split the pill if it is too strong. But there is no score line. Can or should this pill be spit to receive half the dosage? ## The best advice I can give is to listen to what your doctor said. From personal experience when there was no score line on a pill I would still cut in half if it was too strong and simply take half the dose. I don't think you should worry if your doctor gave you the ok to do so. After splitting the pill in half, just be sure to follow your doctors orders on when to take the pill every so many hours.

I have been taking Oxycontin and for BTP Watson 10/325 generic Percocet for a number of years; they have always given me some pain relief. The Actavis Percocet 10/325 do not give me any pain relief. Life is hard enough with the stigma I get from pharmacists’, some friends, people in the pharmacies. yellow, oblong/oval pill, cant read one side since its been in my wallet for awhile, the other side clearly says percocet. So there are no such thing as 15mg Percocet. My friend said she gets them and I told her ,I get 10mg and never heard of 15mgs ## You are correct, the maximum dosage available of Percocet is 10/325mg. However, your friend may be referring to just Oxycodone by itself. Many people call everything that contains it Percocet, even when it doesn't contain the Acetaminophen. Alternatively, if some needs a higher dose of Oxycodone with Acetaminophen, their doctor can write a prescription, which a compounding pharmacy can specially create for them. I have been on narcotics for many years, trying to stay in control my pain. I take percocet 10/325 4 each day, if I switched to roxicet what dose would I need to manage my pain level. ## If you take 4 a day then you would probably get the 30 milligram and maybe also the 15's once a day because you take 4 percocets a day but I'm no doctor but know alot about how doctors do things with that kind of medication. ## Actually, Roxicet and Percocet are the same medication, they both contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, so there would be no change in dosage, when going from one them to other. Where you perhaps referring to Roxicodone, which only contains Oxycodone, without the Acetaminophen?
