My son was given a small round purple pill in hospital tonight. I was told it was 2 mg of Lorazapam. I can't find a picture of any 2 Mg Lorazapam that are small round and purple? My son is autistic and is in a catatonic -like condition due to high levels of anxiety recently. Help! I need to know if this little pill really was Lorazapam . ## Wish I could help you . maybe it depends on the dose. Mine are four grams each and they are white. Never saw pur ple. Sorry darling. I will do a bit of research for you. Hang on! ## Thank you for your reply. I've looked up Lorazapam 2mg on the web but only saw white pills at that dose. ## Hello, Margaret! How are you and your son? "The government is here to help" Pleeeeeezzzz! You can blame the government in their zeal to protect the common irresponsible drug addict and you the responsible consumer with chronic pain can live with your pain! The society is devolving to the lowest common denominator and we are all to blame for electing people who say they want to help but really want to control us! You will find almost no help, no pharmacy or doctor wants to deal with you because of the major government intrusion. Good luck! ## Bravo!!! Now that is saying it like it is. I have had the same Dr. for nine years. Have felt like I finally found one who cared. Since all the changes now, he is different. I brought up that the M367s that the pharmacy switched to a few months ago are not doing what they are supposed... ...

I was wondering if by using the drug Tecta if it causes weight gain or causes bloating or retaining water? ## From what I can find, this contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions, such as heartburn, ulcers, GERD and Gastritis. And it can cause some gas and bloating, as a side effect, however, it is rarely known to cause water retention, but it has happened in some people. Have you contacted your doctor? If it is causing you to experience fluid retention, you will probably need to try a different medication. ## I was taking tecta and have also been stablized of methadone for 20 years..When taking the tecta it almost killed me combined with the methadone. Has anyone experimented with alternatives to baclofen for alchohol cravings. I'm doing pretty well on 5HTP and I'm wondering if there are others. ## 5HTP, also referred to as Oxitriptan is an essential amino acid, which is needed by our body. It helps regulate things such as Seratonin and Melatonin, which are both brain chemicals and if someone is lacking in them, as can be caused by alcohol or drug withdrawal and can cause the cravings, they can be severely effected. Therefore, it does make sense that they can help people with some forms of withdrawal and the associated cravings, since it will help keep a better balance of these chemicals in the brain. Does anyone have experience using this? ...

The white new norcos do not work, and I am back spending half my life in bed. Why is is they break in half so easily? The yellow ones couldnt be broken by hand. Who can we call? The DEA? ## Hi allie, It seems like a lot of patients have been experiencing problems with the Norco made by Actavis (formerly known as Watson). Apparently from what I understand, after Watson was bought out, Actavis made some "unnecessary" changes within the inactive ingredients, causing them to not be nearly as effective as their yellow predecessor. If you want to put in a complaint, I would suggest filing a report with the FDA under their MedWatch program, which can be reached at: Maybe if enough people report similar problems they will consider making changes. But ... ...

expired in 2000 ## Wow, that is some old stuff, almost 10 years. If you are asking if it becomes dangerous, then the answer is no, however, these medications do lose effectiveness over time, so it will not work as well as it did when it was newly prescribed. After 10 years, it may not do anything. If it does, you may still experience side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more here: Do you have any questions? ...
