 DuoFilm Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid (from Latin salix, willow tree, from the bark of which the substance used to be obtained) is a monohydroxybenzoic acid, a type of phenolic acid and a beta hydroxy acid. This colorless crystalline organic acid is widely used in organic synthesis and functions as a plant hormone. It is derived from the metabolism of salicin. In addition to being an important active metabolite of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), which acts in part as a prodrug to salicylic acid, it is probably best...
Fentanyl
I have been weaning myself off Methadone! I was taking 10mgs 3 times a day. I am now down to less than one tablet a day and will continue until I can say goodby Methadone and I never want to see you again. Now to my real problem. Last week my doctor gave me the Fentanyl 25 MCG/HR Patch MYL. I need something to help with the pain I still have although the Lyrica and Cymbalta have really helped. I did not when she gave the Fentanyl Patch to me that I would have to taper off and that it carried baggage of bad side affects. I have read the messages here and have decided not to use the Fentanyl. Thanks to everyone! ## Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I have Fibromyalgia and IT IS REAL!!!!!!!!! ## That is true, the Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic, over 80 times stronger than Morphine and i... ...

is fentanyl prescription only? ## Hi Willy, To answer your question, yes, Fentanyl patches are available by prescription-only; at least here in the US it is. I'm not aware of other countries laws or regulations regarding this medication. Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opiate analgesic similar to but more potent than morphine. It is typically used to treat patients with severe pain, or to manage pain after surgery. It is also sometimes used to treat people with chronic pain who are physically tolerant to opiates. It is a schedule II prescription drug. Learn More: Fentanyl Details I hope this info helps! ...

avinza vs methadone
Do u know which med will likely give me more pain control and consistent relief: 10mg of methadone or 60 mg of avinza? I am currently taking methadone with very little relief and I was looking throughput my medical records and realized that approximately nine years ago I was taking avinza. I don't recall whether or not I had better pain control back then as compared to now because it's been so many years and my condition has worsened drastically in the past year. I wondering if anyone has any more information for me that could help me. compare the two medications. I'm not sure if I want to switch from methadone to avinza or ask to increase the methadone. Thank u. ## Hi Laura, Since your reaction to medication will be completely different than someone else's, no one can r... ...

Benadryl Hydrochloride IV
I have had 2 anaphylactic shock episodes due to ER visits with Benadryl in my IV. Allergist tested...allergic to Benadryl. I am on MANY meds and many have hydrochloride in them and some have diphenhydramine in them. If I am allergic to benadryl, would it be to the Diphenydramine, or the hydrochloride side? Thank you! ## It would be the Diphenhydramine that you have to stay away from. The Hydrochloride just designates the chemical salt that a medication was derived from, so you will actually see that listed on many different medications. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it! ...

michigan methadone prescription in mid
I need a monthly prescription of methadone. Not a clinic!!!! For pain and or addiction to narcotics prescribed to me for diagnosed physical conditions. I genuinely need help. Suboxone is NOT AN OPTION! I have had a script 3x'S. Makes me feel worse! But, I continued to try... now I am prescribed 120 10-325 norco a month. Also Xanax for terrible panic Disorder. Ugh. Please help. Thank you. ## Hello, Krista! How are you? A regular doctor can only prescribe it for pain, not for addiction, that can only be done by someone specially trained in its use for such in a clinical setting. Have you already received Methadone at a clinic for addiction/pain? If so, that is what is in your medial records and no regular practice doctor or specialist will be able to prescribe it for you. Are the Norc... ...
