it' s known that milk interferes with the absorption of some antibiotics, just i want to know for how long after ingestion of cifran one can take milk so that cifran therapeutic effect is not affected. ## Cifran contains the active ingredient Ciprofloxacin, it is an antbiotic and, in this instance, it isn't related to how long it stays in your body, but rather how long it stays in your stomach. Thus, this medication should be taken on an empty stomach either at least a half hour before, or 2 hours after meals. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, skin rash and diarrhea. More details: Are there any other questions?

I've been on zubsolv 5.7 for 6 months and I'm getting myself down to a quarter of a pill a day. I'll take a quarter of one for 6 days and I'll run out. Does anyone how how long the withdraw and the half life will last? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? The withdrawal can vary from person to person, because much of it depends on your own body chemistry, so there's no precise time frame I can give you for that. It may be a week, or it may take a month. The elimination time can take anywhere from 10 to 252 hours. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi, I've been taking nustrate for a year then I stopped 3 months ago and I haven't received my periods. I am worried because my breasts are big and itchy. Could I be pregnant? ## Hello, Mau! How are you? If you've had intercourse during the past 3 months, without using some form of protection to protect against pregnancy, then yes, there is a chance you may be expecting. However, when coming off of such a contraceptive, it can also be normal to experience irregularities for several months, while your body readjusts your natural hormones. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience headaches, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. I was on hydrocodone, xanax, soma and I was given a fentanyl patch 100mcg due to a fall. It damn near killed me. Because of sheer stupidity, I cut this patch and took a minuscule amount of the gel, evidently an extreme amount went into my system. My nurse at the time (I actually had a HH RN) was there 30 minutes after I took it, I was having chest pain, was very confused. And a ROOKIE paramedic gave me Morphine! 4mg IV push was added to the prior "recipe/concoction" and it through me in to SEVERE Respiratory Depression. I was breathing 6RPM in less than a 7 minute ride to the ER / unconscious of course; and a Nurse Practitioner in her infinite wisdom without looking at my med list, or seeing I was taking medication for chronic pain gave me Narcan which could have put me in full ...

wondering how long in your system if you have diabetes, low testerone, and hippsey ## Hi Alice, I think you may be referring to Dilaudid. The name is often misunderstood because of how it's pronounced, but it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone; which is a pretty potent narcotic. The average estimated time frame that Dilaudid can remain detectable in your urine is anywhere from 2 to 4 days. I don't know what effect diabetes may be having on your metabolic process, however low hormone levels could also be playing a role in how long it takes your body to effectively eliminate certain substances. I hope this info helps to answer your question!

I have been trying to find out how long oxycodone will stay in your body after taking 5 mg four times a day for 8 months? ## Hello, Poppy! How are you? It takes approximately 16 to 20 hours. The NIH Warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## According to this site's half life calculator, Oxycodone has a half life of around 4 hours, so within about 24 hours a single dose should be at a concentration of about 1.56% in your system. Since you've been taking it 4 times per day for 8 months, it has been maintaining a steady state in your body, meaning that it may take longer than what I have listed above. More info: Oxycodone ...

My husband has been using celebrex for about 2 weeks. He is now complaining that his knees hurt worse than before the celebrex. How is your husband doing? Yes, it may take a few days for him to start to feel better. Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Has he consulted his doctor? I started taking Amoxicillin 500mg for three days I have stopped taking it because I've noticed mild weakness in my legs and arms how longs does it take amoxicillin to leave my system and for me to feel normal again? ## If you only took it for a few days, it shouldn't take long, at all, maybe a week. However, if you require an antibiotic to eradicate an infection, you should see your doctor to discuss what other antibiotic you can try. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

how long does Neuratin stay in your system and will it show up on most drug test ## Neurontin is metabolixed very quickly by the kidneys and clears the body rapidly -- just a few hours (google it info is easy to find on exact numbers), thus rather frequent dosing. It is not a narcotic, nor a controlled substance, and thus is not commonly tested for. ## Since this is commonly prescribed for pain, many people think it is some type of pain medication, but it isn't and will not show up on standard drug tests.

I started amoxicillin 100 mg 2 days ago for a sinus infection. All of a sudden I have lower back pain. I read this was one side effect. It came up all a sudden. I stopped taking it. I can't sleep or walk much because of the pain ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I'n very sorry about how you're feeling. It is odd for it to cause such severe pain. However, it should only take a couple days for things to settle back down, since you were on it for such a short period of time. However, if you have an infection that requires treatment, you should return to your doctor, so they can prescribe a different antibiotic.
