How Long For One Xanax To Be Out Of Your System

Took a urine test, given to me by my doctor, to see how long the Xanax would stay in my system. I took it on Friday about 10 PM and tested on Monday about 10 AM. I tested positive. I am 5'9" 168 LBS. How long should this stuff take to get out of my system anyway? ## It'll most likely still be detected in your system in 2.5 days, sorry to say. It usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes max to start feeling the effects of Xanax. However, timing can also depend on the dose, your tolerance, and how much food you might have in your stomach at the time. Other benzotype medications such as Klonopin are long acting and can sometimes take up to an hour to notice relief. But if you're taking a lower dose of Xanax (immediate release) with no tolerance, I'd imagine that you'd notice it working within the first 15 minutes or so. How long will It be until I can pass a urine test? ## The time it takes Xanax to leave your system for a urine test is a pretty broad spectrum of 1-6 weeks. 1 week for a single use and an upwards of 6 weeks if used regularly as you have been for a couple months. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables while staying hydrated throughout the day will significantly help your body detox quicker. Besides getting plenty of rest each night I'd also recommend getting at least an hour each day of exercise in (if you are able to) to help sweat out any toxins and get your lymphatic system flowing (which will significantly aid in detoxification as well).
