I was taking suboxone for about a year 1 tablet a day. how long does it stay in your system ## Suboxone is a long-lasting opiate, so it can take as long as a week to be completely out of your body. If you are worrying about a urine test, then the time span can be much shorter, it will not show in that for several days. It is detectable much longer for blood, tissue or hair tests. If you are taking it by prescription, then you just need to inform them of this, when you go to have the test done. Do you have any other questions? ## How much longer does it stay in ur blood. All that was mention was it stays in the blood a lot longer than the week for urine. I need a estimate on how long. I cant seem to find anything that states that. My family bought me a 50$ 10 panel test and I took half a sub, the day before, the only thing that came up positive was oxycodone! And what is the purpose of the urine test? Your situation depends on those variables. From my understanding, Drs have to specifically test for buprenorphine. I have taken Heroin for a few months. Quit and took a few strips of 8 mg subs. Got BACK on Heroin for a few days like an idiot. I have a voluntary drug test I want to take at a clinic to present to my lawyer for a court case. will xanax show up on a suboxone drug test..please tell me if i took six xanax fifteen days prior to my suboxone screen will it show a positive? ## No if it was 15 days ago it won't be in your system anymore. It has a half life of up to 40 hours and that's for older people and heavier people and it usually takes a few half life's to get completely out of your system (3or 4 days tops) so you should be fine but yes generally I'm pretty sure they do test for it. I know mine does to make sure I am taking my subs and not taking anything else. Benzodiazepines is one of the drugs they do check for. Since it was 2 weeks ago you are fine.
