How long does Soma stay in your urine?? My dr's office has a new machine that can detect ANYTHING even o.t.c meds.. I'm not suspose to be taking the soma anymore but its the only thing that helps me with my nerves & pain!! Also..does anyone know if it is a "controled substance" now?? I know whn I WAS perscribed to Soma..they was NOT controlled!!??? ## CEEPS: As with any drug, the amount you consume depends on the time it will be in your system. My pain care dr prescribes it to me but I don't always take them right. If I'm really hurting I might take 2. My husband says they can tell in blood work that I took more that prescribed. I've been insufflating hydrocodone two a day for 2 days but I'm not prescribed this medication by my doctor..I currently see a pain management Doctor every month for my regular meds which are percocett 10/325 and Soma. Anyhow, from what I was able to gather, it stays in your system for roughly three days max; but nine times out of ten basic drug tests don't test for soma (Carisoprodol). Additional information I found states the following: "Soma itself is eliminated from the body quickly, within a day. I havent done all of that @ one time, im prescribed vicodin,soma,xanax & klonopine. But I was @ a friends & out of my meds. She gave me a methadone, later she gave me a line of cocaine & an adderall. Now im worried about a drug test @ the end of next week. I've had major neck & back surgery & was out of my pain med so i thought it would help. NOT! I didnt like it & it didnt help & it was so stupid.
