will a 1/2 pill of mallinckrodt 10-325 and will it last as long as a full pill with half the strength? ## Hello, Priscilla! How are you? You mean 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If so, then in theory, yes it should work that way. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

What Oxycotin mg is Equal To 100mg Morphine Er ## The Oxycodone in the Oxycontin is actually one and half times stronger than the Morphine, so you would require a lower dosage of it, thus the conversion would be 66.67mgs of Oxycontin. They are both narcotics, so they share a similar side effect profile, which may include: nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Hello- I have just had to change my pain medications through a pain clinic due to losing my job. My question is that I went from taking Percocet 10/325 up to 8 times a day, & my doc switched me to MS Contin 60 mg, twice a day. Is this an equivalent dose? Thanks in advance. ## It is stronger. Be sure and take your first dose at least several hours before you have to drive or be alert because it may make you sleepy, even if the Percocet didn't ## Hello, Mich! How are you doing? Oxycodone is 1 and half times stronger than the Morphine. Taking 120mgs of the MS Contin per day means that you are on an equivalent dosage, once the effect of the Acetaminophen is factored in. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as naus... ...

yellow, oblong/oval pill, cant read one side since its been in my wallet for awhile, the other side clearly says percocet. I just want to be sure its a percocet before i take it as i have had many bad reactions to other pills and this is the one that i have not. I plan on only taking half, which is what i do when i am in extreme pain, yet still need to function, but do not want an adverse reaction if this is not a percocet. The percs i am used to taking are normally white and round (generics) someone please assure me this is an actual percocet. ## Yes, there are 2 yellow, oblong name brand Percocet tablets that say Percocet on one side. One of them contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the other contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, however, with... ...

Small capsule with half pale pink half light brown. Marking ONR on one half and 20 on the other what the hell is it? ## Hi! From what I've been able to find, this is a 20mg Oxynorm capsule, it's a rapid release formulation of Oxycodone that's used to treat pain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. I took half of a 15mg is it safe to take a percocet? ## Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and the Oxycodone is also a narcotic, so combining them both could cause the risk of overdose, or even just depression of the central nervous system. Smaller Darker Blue M 30

Is Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals making a new blue M 30? Earlier today my friend told me that they were making new blue M 30s and he gave me a half to try. From what I can tell it is the real thing but it looks different. Darker Blue, Box M on one side, 30 on the other. It is also smaller about the size of an A. ## Actually, from the reports I'm finding these are listed as being fake and there is no definitive answer on what they contain, so I'd advise you not to take them and to proceed with caution. They are not listed in Mallinckrodt's database, they only list a purple pill with that marking that's a Morphine tablet and the pale blue one that is Oxycodone. Learn more Oxycodone details here. opana vs oxycontin 80 mg
1 Reply RSS
been on oxycontin for 4 years and is not working as well since they switched formula ## There have been many complaints about this. Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and it is actually stronger than Oxycodone, requiring just half the dose. So, if you were taking 80mgs of Oxycontin, you would need just 40mgs of Opana. Since it is a narcotic, the side effect profile is basically the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. My insurance company did not give me a choice recently so my dr. & I had to make different optons for my PM. I was on: Oxycotin CR 60 mg. twice a day along with ~ up to 4 percecot daily, which was: 10/325 mg. Now, I've had to change to: Taking 3 Morphine Sul ER 30 mgs. with still taking up to 4 percecot daily. How does this compare? I'm still having more pain with this newly issue. Should I be taking a stronger mg of the Morphinr Sul. I thought this was a much weaker strength than the Oxycotin cr. Can you explain this to me? Thank you in advance, Eva ## Hello, Eva! How are you? I'm so very sorry that you're in pain. Oxycodone is one and a half times stronger than Morphine, so you'd need 90mgs of it to equal each 60mgs you were taking of the Oxycontin, which means... ...

Morphine Sulfate 30mg E653

How different is Morphine Sulfate 30mg E 653 from a 30mg perocet, and is it dangerous to take it like its a percocet or vicodin, is it ok to take in severe cases of plantars fasciitis ## There is no 30mg Percocet, so I assume you're talking about a regular release Oxycodone tablet, whereas Percocet would contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. As to a comparison, Oxycodone is actually one and half times stronger than Morphine, so it would take 45mgs of Morphine to equal 30mgs of the Oxcycodone, so you may not get as much pain relief, as you would from the Oxycodone. It is a narcotic, so yes, it can be dangerous to take, just like all of them are and it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, constipation and dia... ...

someone gave me some big white capsules that has no numbers on them just two small black strips on each side of the pill it has powder in it and someone told me that it was either oxycodone or oxycontine 80mg has anyone ever seen these pills in that form? ## They aren't manufactured U.S. prescription medications, those are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only way you get Oxycodone like this in the U.S. would be if it was made by a compounding pharmacy, which makes no sense, because that dosage is available, so a doctor wouldn't have to order it that way. This is most likely just some over the counter product of some type. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone recognize this? ## A capsul half black half... ...

I just had surgery and they gave me endocet 10mg, and I'm getting sick in my belly. I've been on percs or hydros at higher doses because of cancer and nothing has ever done this, so can i take half or is the oxy in one half of the tablet and Tylenol in other half? ## Yes, Endocet is made up of 10 mg oxycodone, and 325 mg of Tylenol (acetaminophen). Have you taken this generic before? You might just need to eat jello or a popsicle or something light with it to alleviate the nausea, and lay down and move around as little as possible after taking it. Maybe these things will help you feel better. A half of a 10 mg. should help you. If not, and you tolerate it ok, then you could follow the same steps I suggested; and take the other half. Good luck and God Bless, hope you feel better ... ...

Where did you find them? It seems that your suspicions are correct, but not the dosage. These contain 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation and are generics for Roxicodone.
