I was taking oxycontin 60mg per day almost every day for a few months. I have not taken anything at all in two weeks. For the past week I have been running and drinking a lot of water. I tested myself at home with a home kit and oxy still showed up positive. I only have four days left. I talked to pharmacists and even they told me they dont understand how it is still in my body; What do I do?! ## The length of time it can take to process out of the body can vary from person to person, it can also be affect by how much you took and for how long. My friend takes roxi's and the last time he smoked them was Saturday night 3 days ago and did not smoke since until yesterday afternoon. But he started on suboxone on Sunday until yesterday morning. He smoked 4 of them and then he did 3 more last night. He is taking the last suboxone today in the afternoon and he is drinking a jug of ice tea which has primarily water. I take meds less than prescribed. I take a 15mg oxy and break it in half, then quarter it, so the last two days I have been taking a quarter of the 15mg. One quarter today, and hopefully none until Monday's drug test. If I drink a lot of water should I be ok? It is for pre-employment, and I have been turned away even though I have a script for it.
