I have severe RA, hip and femur full of bullet fragments and severe muscle loss. I have been taking 3 x's a day mscontin 30mg. Dr put me on 30mg of Opana 2 x's daily. I took first 2hours and not helping yet with my pain. How long does it take to kick in fully? Thank you ## The ER designates it as being a time released medication, so it doesn't all take effect, at once, it is slowly released over a period of time, but you should start to feel some relief within a few minutes of taking it. Has there been any change? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

i have some that I got a while back from the doctor for ear infection and I have the ear infection again. ## How long ago did you get it? Once opened, the liquid antibiotics usually don't retain their full efficacy for very long. Some expirations are as short as 30 days, so it will likely not work as well to treat an infection. Your best bet is to see your doctor and get a new prescription.

Ok I came on this website looking for the answer. I took a half a zubsolv at 9:30 yesterday morning, it is now 10:00 the next morning. I'm currently on oxycodone 30 mg and fentanyl 100mmg 2 patches every 3 days. I am still in chronic pain. So i got 2 8mg/2mg strips to try because i have a slight dependency to vicodin which i normally take 15 to 30mgs of a day for a little over a year for chronic skeletal back and neck pain do to sever early on set arthritis. So I'm 30 years old. I have been taking various pain medications in very large doses for 15 years. I once ate 42 10/set hydro in one day. I was not worried about overdose on hydro, just acetaminophen. So I have a brain full of opiate receptors. From what I have read the longer and larger your tolerance well what happens is your brain builds more opiate receptors. So this is how high my tolerance is. I can take 36mg of Suboxone and the next morning at about noon take a couple hundred mg of morphine and feel full effects. Both subutex and suboxone will cause precipitated withdrawal. It is the bupe that connects to the receptors and kicks the methadone out. Naloxone is just an extra blocker!! I live around the Fredericksburg va erea. I'm prescribed 30mg oxycodone 2-3× daily and oxycotine 80 mg twice a day. I've been using the same pharmacy for 22 yrs. Rite aid It just so happens they carry the brand of oxycodone that works for me but have suddenly stopped filling any narcotics, same for CVS they have both started using the most rediculious reasons all I can do is lauph that is if it wasnt for the fact that there's been times I've toted these scripts around for up to 2 weeks before trying to fill them. I took about 1/4 of a suboxone 8mg film at about 8:30 this morning. Of I take a 30mg roxy at 10:30 tonight, will I feel it or will it be a waisted. ## Yes, it will. I'm trying to find out what medication I can take to equal the same as 30 mg of Percocet. ## The type of medication and dosage required to achieve the same effects of a 30mg Percocet is going to vary greatly for each individual and is also dependent upon your level of pain versus someone else's level of pain. Because of these underlying factors, it's really impossible to guess which medication and dosage is going to work for you.
