How Long Does It Take For Half A Suboxone 8 2 To Wear Off

Hello I have been on opiates for about 2 years now and I was given a half of a quarter of a subutex and this is my first time taking it. I was wanting to know when it wears off? I think it threw me into full detox because I took 20 mg of hydrocodone 7 hours before I took the sub. I am aware I have a problem I just want to know when the sub will wear off. Took it at 1:30 pm, it's now 9:30pm. ## It usually takes about 72 hours, before other opiates will be effective for you, again. I took 20 mg of methadone yesterday afternoon. Can I take a suboxone strip or half a strip and be ok and feel the relief of the sub? I'm not sick but in major pain and need some kind of pain relief and subs do that for me. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I have been on suboxone for about a year now and I'm wondering if I or my Dr is doing something wrong? I feel normal all day, but when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I got hit by a bus. I wake up and take my sub immidatly trying to advoid the pain but it normally takes me a hour-hour & a half to feel good enought to get dressed for work..etc. I don't know how to describe it other then it feels like my stomach is being twisted up. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. I only ask cause my Dr seems to blow it off and send me on my way. ## All medications only last a certain period of time, so it is normal for there to be a time period where it will wear off and you may have to wait for your next dose to kick in. Been home from treatment for a week. While there for 30 days .... I started suboxone maintenance at 1 8 mg film a day. The entire time I was there, I felt great. No w/d symptoms after I took my first dose. Since I have returned home.... I have maintained my same 8 mg dose each morning. Within two days of being home....I have been feeling w/d symptoms around 7 pm each night. Freezing cold, nauseous, insomnia. As soon as I take my dose in the am I am fine then same thing happens each night. I most definitely feel that my dose is wearing off (YES I know about the half life and YES I was told that you don't build a tolerance to subs) BUT I know how I feel and after 7 pm....I feel like s***!
