I do not tolerate any of the oxy drugslike Percocet I hallucinate. theprescribed dose of hydrocodone is not cutting the pain. it's ok to take another if I'm still in pain after one hour? ## If your meds aren't working, talk to the pharmacy first. I have been taking norco 10/325 yellow oval pill for a few years but yesterday what I got was different they were white oblong pills which says hyd/apap 10/325 mg tab amnea on it and the numbers on the tablet are G 037. Are they the same? The norco always worked very well but these white tabs don't seem as strong or work as well. ## Yes, they are the same, the tablet with the G 037 on it has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Tris Pharma. I've been taking Watson 5-325 hydrocodone from Walgreens for years for back pain. I am disabled, have scoliosis and two bad car accidents caused the need. 3 months ago Walgreens changed to this new Actavis brand. It isn't working! Until I read this, I thought I would have to increase my dosage. Also for the past 3 months I've had sore throat and pain in sinuses and ears. I had a total shoulder replacement and my doctor gave me Percocet to go home with. They immediately took the pain away for about 4-5 hours. Now she has given me Vicodin 5/325 and they are not working, not even 2 at a time. Why don't they work for me but the Percocet does? One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. Aside from that, subtle differences in the "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers) could also impact the absorption/overall efficacy of the medication. The APAP is simply an abbreviation for Acetaminophen. In terms of how it compares to the Watson (Actavis) formula, this is something that can only be determined by you since everyone is affected different by the same medication(s). Are they still making the round white Watson 10-325? After being on them for yrs for pain for my back all of a sudden the pharmacy changes to another that's A333. Not working nearly as well. I recently moved to a very small town and when I transferred my prescriptions to the small chain pharmacy my norcos are now a oval white pill with a score on one side and a U03 on other. They work just as good but I'm curious as to why there diffrent or who makes them? I find very little info on them using google. Any one have any info to share? I had been taking hydro 325 7.5 and diazepam for a number of years now for arthritis in my back and neck, tendonitis, nerve pain, degenerative muscle disease in shoulders and it worked pretty good for me. I was given Tylenol3 and flexerel which didn't help at all but now she wants to give me hydro 5 325 alone which does nothing. I'm presently taking Hydroco/APAP 7.5/325 which are white with 1P115 stamped on it. I was previously taking hydrocodone which were peach colored. With the white ones they are not as strong. I have to take two to get relief from chronic pain. With the peach colored ones I could take one and worked fine. Why would they be different if suppose to be same thing?
