Hydrocodone Apap 5 325mg How Many Mgs Is Safe For Severe Pain
I just had knee surgery may 3rd.I had Hydromorphone and ran out and because of the slow healing process that i am experencing,My Doc gave me hydrocodone 5/325's.He said to take 1-2 every for pain, but it doesn't seem to be working.Should I wait a while longer to see if it does.I DON'T want to take very high does of acedaminophin because of liver damage. ## You can take Ibprofin with this. ## You are correct to worry about taking too much of the Acetaminophen, not only does it risk liver damage, but it can be toxic if you take too much of it in a day. At doses over 4grams/4,000mgs, it can be toxic and put you in life-threatening danger. Because of this, I'd suggest talking to your doctor, before adjusting the amount you are taking. Are there any other questions or comments... ...

There is no reason it should take so long for the patch to start working, it should only take a short time for the medication to start being absorbed and alleviating your pain. what are the effects of this drug? Are there any side effects? ## half the 25 mg prescribed for HBP; need to know about side effects; cannot sleep; mouth sore..thanks ## Is this safe. for long term use. hydrochlorot 25mg. ## In regards to posts like this, it is very important that it always be stated that every medication carries the risk of causing side effects, even over the counter products. I know some doctors claim that they don't, but they are either uninformed or are trying to keep you from being afraid of taking a medication they feel you need. However, when something is prescribed for you, always just assume that it may cause side effects. You may be lucky and not experience any, but there's no way of knowing ahead of time. As to the Hydrochlorothiazide, it is a diureti... ...

How are you? Yes, as of the first of the year, they are only available with a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, just like the new one you are taking. The Acetaminophen tends to augment the action of the narcotic, that's why the new one doesn't seem to work as well for you. However, your body should adjust after a week or two. Yellow Liquid Hydrocodone
I Found a blottle that read HYDROCODOE/APAP ELX PMA I was just curious as to how strong it was, it's yellow..If that matters any. ## I'm thinking the "ELX" probably stands for Elixir, which is liquid. And from what I could gather, Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen Oral Solutions come in dosages of: 7.5 mg/500 mg per 15 mL. I noticed that this dosage has yellow dye in it as well if that helps: "In addition, the liquid contains the following inactive ingredients: ammoniated glyyerrhizin, dibasic sodium phosphate, citric acid, ethyl maltol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, sodium gluconate, sorbitol solution, with D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6 as coloring, and natural and art... ...

Hydrocodone after surgery
I have had two surgeries and on hydro.10mg|325 tabs. I have winged myself down to 1 every 12 hours. Ive noticed that after about 9 hours it seems like im catching a cold. I push myself to go the 12 hours. Once i take the med. im fine. I have probably been on them fo 3 months.. Really i may need a smaller dose but ill try taking maybe about 5 ibuprofen's for a little while. Is there a easier way to taper down, how can i taper down or do i just have to crawl under the sheets and die. I hate these pills, don't want something else controlling me. ## Sounds like you have been on them a while, The reason you feel like you have a cold is that your waiting to long to take one, if you want to tapper down start with the dose you were on, then your next dose wait an additional hour and so on... ...
