Is this normal or should I go back to the emergency room?? ## Hello, Heather! How are you feeling? Side effects shouldn't last that long, after stopping them. Have you visited a dentist, about the tooth issue, yet? If you have an infection, it could be what's causing these symptoms. Hi. I was on Topamax 50mg at bedtime only for a month. I lost 15 lbs, fuzzy brain, but most of all terrible thoughts of not wanting to go on, depressed constantly. Been off only 2 weeks. I still am depressed a lot, not nearly as much but my appetite is non-existent. I use to have a big sweet tooth now I can't stand anything sweet. Does anyone know how long till it's out of your system and have you experienced anything like this and how long did it last? Thanks in advance. By the way, I call the drug the demon, I am glad for people who it works for, but others like myself need to be really careful on it. Good luck to all. ## Hello, Ann! How are you doing? Has anything improved, yet? It can sometimes take a month, or so, before the side effects go away and you start to feel more n...

Iv took pain for years.now i want quit how long does the side effects last? ## Hello, Dave! How are you? Tapering off of them, rather than stopping cold turkey would best and should help to minimize the withdrawal symptoms. Have you consulted your doctor? They should be able to help you set up an appropriate tapering schedule. I can't really give you a definitive time frame for how long they will last, a lot of it depends on your body and how it reacts, but usually it takes a week or two. ## Just started subs 8m.g 2m.g...six days ago...I had a tooth pulled and now have dry socket...how long will the subs remain in my system? ## The last 4days I have took 5to 6 hydrocodone 10/325 a day yesterday I didn't and today I didn't but I still feel light headed and flirting in my ches...

Hi! I went on Amox-Clav because of swollen lymph nodes, but no diagnosis as to why they were swollen. I was on a 7 day course. I had nausea, diarrhea, anxiety, palpitations, low back pain and loss of appetite while on the drug. I finished the course and started to feel better. However, its been 10 days since I stopped taking them and I still get chills, nausea and the sweats every few days at night. Is it normal to still have side effects this long after stopping the antibiotic? I have been taking probiotics to help, but its still not gone. ## Yes, those are normal side effects according to the FDA, and they can linger for several weeks, after finishing your course of treatment. You may also experience dizziness, diarrhea, and stomach pain. How are you doing, now? Has there been any cha...

I have been on xarelto for 2 & a half years for afib.....was recently taken off of it....I am having flu like symptoms.....headache, achiness & nausea... Could any of this be due to stopping the xarelto? ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? Yes, it's possible. Your body gets used to anything that you ingest regularly for a long period of time, so suddenly stopping something can cause some minor withdrawal effects. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience diarrhea, chills and fever. However, there is a also a chance that you've just caught the flu. How are you feeling, now? How long have you been off of it? ## How long does the nausea last when coming off Xarelto and what other side effects do you get? How long before you start to feel any better?

Hi. I've been on Bystolic for about two years, since shortly after a five valve emergency bypass. While taking it (and I'm on so many meds I have NO idea if the Bystolic is responsible for this) I've had SOB and just an incredible weakness in legs. Had LOTS of tests related to the SOB, and they were all good. No actual SOB according to the lung doctor. Now....I ran out of Bystolic about 2 weeks ago and keep forgetting to go get the refill. For the last 10 days or so, I've brief periods of dizziness, some morning headaches, some loss f appetite, and the SOB/weakness issue has gotten exponentially worse. I work for a public utility so I am outdoors all day, and perform somewhat strenuous work. For the last several days, walking up a slight incline or climbing about 25 feet...

Hi m lerato I would like 2 ask how long do the side effect last after using canex v?I have used canex v 4 3 days n it's no longer that painful when urinating does tht mean it's working? ## Hello, Lerato! How are you? Has there been any change? Canex V is listed as containing Clotrimazole, which is an antifungal medication that's commonly used to treat yeast infections. Its typical side effects, as reported by the U.S. FDA, may include discharge, spotting, skin redness and irritation, but they shouldn't last more than a few days after stopping it's use. However, it does not treat urinary tract infections, that would require an antibiotic. Have you had any more pain or burning?

I've been taking lisinopril 20mg for more than 20 years. I have had side effects that come and go, such as coughing, lightheadedness, and dizziness. But now I have lightheadedness and dizziness all the time. Frequent urination, legs are weak, sometimes when I am walking I feel like I am going to pass out; and ED problems. I spoke with my doctor and he told me to stop taking it. I stopped taking it one week ago. My bp is 135/75. My question is how long will these side effects last before they go away? Thanks. ## Hello, Luis! How are you feeling? After being on it for so long, it may take a month, or so, before these effects go away and for you to start feeling better. As reported by the FDA, you may also start experiencing some rebounds effects, such as elevated blood pressure and he...

I was put on the drug in November 2011. I was taking it till this year September this year when i decided to leave it. I did not taper it down at all. I have honestly tried hard to keep myself calm in times when something upsets me.. i just can't control it. I started trileptal at 16 or 17 years old, took it for about 5 years, and have been off of any psychiatric meds for about 4 or 5 years now. I developed a slight tick that doesn't interfere with my day to day, but I notice it. People close to me have never pointed it out, so I don't think it's obvious, but sometimes I have to try twice to pick something up because my finger or neck/head twitches. Should I expect this to be permanent? I know it's on the list of side effects for trileptal. Could it be degenerative? ## Hi Mia, Sorry to hear about your experience with Trileptal. I finished 10 days worth of amox-clav 875 and the last day I developed dark urine, a whole body itch, nausea and loss of appetite. This has lasted for 4 days now and is worsening. The pharmacist said to take benedryl, but how dangerous and how common are these side effects? Also, how long will they last? It's very worrisome. This is a dangerous drug! ## Did you also experience diarrhea, while you were taking it? Everything except the body itch, sounds like it could be due to dehydration, which frequently happens when antibiotics cause diarrhea and people don't up their fluid intake to accommodate for the loss. You can read more Augmentin side effects here. The itching could be related to dehydration, as well, but it's more difficult to pinpoint, because it could also be rela...

My father who is 79 was started on 300 mg of gabapentin, three times a day. After the 4th dose, he was having hallucinations, tremors, and became tachycardic and arrhythmic. Although the MD prescribing would not say stop the medication, his cardiologist advised immediately stopping. He continues to be lethargic, confused and although better, still has some tremors about 36 hours after taking his last dose. His heart rate is down to around 84 now. How long do the side effects of Fortaz last after you stop taking it? ## Hi Mary - I did not find specific information as far as how long you could be experiencing side effects after stopping the drug. I know from my own experience that it can be weeks in the case of other antibiotics. You might consider calling the manufacturer Teligent Pharma at 856-697-1441. DailyMed also has a pretty detailed list of possible adverse effects. May I ask what you are experiencing?

I had two injections of prolia and then my doctor said we could stop, because I was well - that was 2 years ago. Now I had a test and it seems my results are worse again. I have been on Multac for 3 yrs now. They put me on it after an ablation and I've only had one episode since and it went back into normal rythym just as the er doc was getting ready to hook me up to an IV.
