Ive been on methadone for a year 30mg daily I took that yesterday im out I have 4 mg subutex can I take it ## I was on (110) of methadone b 4 I switched 2 suboxone. My Dr. Told me I had 2 wait until I started feeling withdrawals b 4 I started the suboxone so it will work properly. I took 4 mg of a D at 11:00 am and took my last Vicodin 5/325 at 5:00 pm. How long should I wait to take 2 mg of Suboxone tomorrow? I usually start feeling mild withdrawals at 4 am. I've only been taking subs for the last 2 days roughly at maybe 8-10mg for those couple of days. How long should I wait until I take oxycodone to make sure the effects actually work. I have no other history with suboxone and the last time I took any oxycodone was a little over 2 weeks ago. I would say my metabolism is above average. However, I just don't want to waste the 15mg of oxycodone that I do have. I have been taking opiates everyday. Yesterday I decided to start suboxone to detox at home. I took 12mg of suboxone too soon and went into severe withdrawal. I have been on morphine for about 7 weeks. I take about 100 to 200mg a day. I am about to switch to methadone in the morning. I am going to take 30mg tomorrow morning and 20mg the next morning. Then on the third day I plan on switching to suboxone. I only have 6mg of suboxone to take on the third day. But my question is, Is it safe to take the 6mg of suboxone 24 hrs after taking the methadone for two days,(30mg the first day and 20mg the second day)?? Wanted to say I just came out of precipitated withdrawal! What holy hell! I have been on methadone for 6 years taking 115 mlg daily & got myself down to 50 mlg for 2 weeks, waited more than 72 hours, then took 2mlg suboxone. I was fine. Not better, just not worse. Following my doc's orders, I took another 2mlg 90 mins later. Ok, then took another 2mlg after 90 min and oh my god. Almost instantly threw me into precipitated withdrawal! Help! I've been on suboxone for 3 years and havent really had any relapses, especially in the last year. I have the flu of death currently and couldn't resist my mom offering me two of her lortab 10 mgs. That was about 12 hours ago.
