how long do i have to wait take suboxone after dones
Ive been on methadone for a year 30mg daily I took that yesterday im out I have 4 mg subutex can I take it ## I was on (110) of methadone b 4 I switched 2 suboxone. My Dr. Told me I had 2 wait until I started feeling withdrawals b 4 I started the suboxone so it will work properly. I'm not saying that u have 2 b in a ball of withdrawals, but, u need 2 feel some. ## From what I've been reading, Post #1 is right about the waiting period. Apparently it is best to wait until you gradually start feeling the onset of withdrawals in order to get the most out of the Suboxone. So however long it may take to feel withdrawals from Methadone, this time frame can be different for everyone based on tolerance, dosage, frequency of use, metabolism, and several other individual factors. Some peop... ...

On Fentanyl How Long To Wait Take Suboxone
i am on 100 mcg fentanyl patch every 48 and given the certain amount of waste each month with one or more galling off and whatnot i keep a couple suboxone from an old script on hand. how long should i wait to take a half an eight mg sub.??? thank you in advance ## To prevent them falling off, you might want to try using some waterproof medical tape to help keep them on, they also sell a clear sticky patch that can be used over them and it is fine to do so, unless your doctor has given you specific instructions not to. Learn more Fentanyl details here. Learn more Suboxone details here. How long to wait from Opana ER 40 mg to Suboxone film
I'm quiting Opana using Suboxone. I've gradually come down from Opana ER 40 mg to 10 mg over a period of 6 months, and am switching today to Suboxone film. Dr told me to wait 24 to 36 hrs before starting Subs (wait till I can't stand the withdrawals any longer). Normally on 10 mg Opana I start to feel withdrawals within 12 hrs, can't get comfortable in my skin, can't sleep, restless leg etc. Problem is I ran out of 10 mg yesterday so the single last Opana I took was an ER 40 mg. It's been 30 hrs and still no noticable withdrawals. I don't want to start the Suboxone until feeling the withdrawals as instructed cause I don't want the Subs to kick in and suddenly block the Opana causing worse withdrawals. How long should I wait? ## There is really no precise ... ...

when to take suboxone?
Hi, I am new here, although I have been reading up on these posts for my own benefit for similar situations...so, anyway, I have a question, I think I already know the answer to...but here it goes. How long do I need to wait after taking a 10mg Oxy at 3pm, then a 10mgill) methadone at 7pm on friday night, THEN a half piece, (half a pill) at 2pm sat afternoon. It is now 10am sun morning...Im not feeling withdrawls yet. I am an opiate addict & have been for 6yrs now. I am considered a"functioning addict" I think because I have a family, a 3yr old daughter...while I was pregnant, I taoered myself down on my own & took lortab 10's, yellow norcos, less acetaminophen. I then started taking suboxone last yr for 4month. My rehab counselor says Im too smart to be using but I ... ...

How Long Will Suboxone Last per dose?
I took about 1/3 of a 8mg suboxone at around 9 this morning and it is around 4pm now and i am still feeling dizzy and naucious. Is this normal or did i take too little of a dose. ## The proper Suboxone dosage really depends on the drug you were taking and how much of it you were taking, so it can vary from person to person. Learn more Suboxone details here. What dosage have you been told to take by your doctor? You may have taken too low of a dose, but like I said, it depends on how much you were taking of the drug you were on. Did you wait until you were in full withdrawal before taking it? ## I just started sub's (1, 2mg) yesterday for oxy addiction. I slept well, woke up with no W/D symptoms. I feel very dizzy, normal ? Also, can I take a 5 mg valium as I have been using them for... ...

how long after taking suboxone...
I am prescribed fentanyl 25mcgs/hr. Sometimes I have trouble keeping the patch on. I had a couple fall off early this month and couldn't get my refill early. So I decided I would use Subxn to help if there was withdrawal. It worked good, but now it's time for me to stop and put back on my patch. I don't know how long I have to wait. I took 2mgs yesterday at 3pm. It's now 1pm. Is it too soon? ## You will be fine to take it, 2mg is a really low dosage- I take a-more than that. Suboxin is a opiate blocker- your patch may not seem as strong but I doubt it- If you take suboxin over a period of time 3days or more - then your patch would be a waste. That low of a dose will not effect that patch 2-day. But if you hadden take a 8mg gram suboxin- I would suggest wating 2days befor... ...

How Long Do I Have To Wait Take Subutex After Taking Trammadol And Tylenol 3
I 've been on subutex for about 6 months. Had a tooth pulled 5 days ago since I've takin 16 lorcett 7.5 some tylenol 3 and 3 trammadol I'm pretty sure in 24 hours it will be ok.. I wish I'd just stayed on the subutex my mouth still hurts like crazy but i want back on my subutex ## The Subutex only contains Buprenorphine, not the Naloxone that's in Suboxone, so you really shouldn't have to wait too long of a period of time. Learn more Subutex details here. However, I'd suggest checking with your doctor to be certain. Is anyone experienced in this area? ## You have to wait the same amount of time for both. The buprenorphine is what cause precipitated withdrawels not the naloxone which is useless and inactive because it can't compete with the bupe. Bupe has ... ...

too scared to take suboxone
I have been taking two to three 8mg Dilaudid ,iv, for the past 3 years. I am desperately wanting to take suboxone and get off the D. I had done a quarter of a D right before bed then 6 hours later I did a half of a sub strip. I was able to go to work and I was fine. I am wanting to do the same thing now and get off of this junk but after I see people that wait I see people that waited 16 hours to take a sub and I still went in to precipitated withdrawals. Did I just have a stroke of luck the first time around or is it possible to have the same results again? I pray to God its possible! Any useful insight is welcome. ## Before starting Suboxone, you actually need to be in full withdrawals. Otherwise, as you've noticed from others, it can throw you into severe withdrawals, due to the ... ...

how long after taking a 1/4 suboxone can you take a Percocet?
I took a 1/4 of a suboxone a friend had given me around 6:00 pm today. How long do I have to wait until I can take a Percocet for pain and not get it and have it work? ## 1/4 of a suboxone isn't a very detailed description how many MG's was the strip?(i know this is an old comment but whatever) ## I have to get through a drug panel tomorrow. I am on suboxene maintenance but smoked a Lil pot and didn't want the pot to show. I bought some u pass and was wondering if I should put a little bit of suboxene n there will it show that I've been taking my suboxene. I need to know this today please!!!!! ## I know this topic is a few weeks old, but I do agree with josh (post #1) in that the answer to the original thread question would largely depend on how many milligrams of Suboxo... ...

Suboxone
I started my program today. 4mg per day is the magic number. I had to take one 2mg then wait an hour to see the Dr again. Then given another 2mg. When I left I felt like I was high. About an hour later I started to throw up. Does it help to take this with food? I know it's a side affect, does it go away? ## I am not sure how much taking it with food would help, since it is making you sick. You may want to consult with the doctor or a pharmacist before trying that. They may also have some other ideas on how to help the nausea. And yes, it will taper off as your body adjusts to the medication. You may also experience: dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Read more on Suboxone here: If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know and post back and let us know how y... ...

How many hrs after morphine should I take suboxone
I took 200 mg of time released morphine at 11am yesterday morning. It's been 31 hrs. Is it safe to take a suboxone? I've been down this road before and I have never had a good experience! I hate drugs!!!!!! I have been sneezing, yawning, and jimmy legs! Please help!!! ## From what I've read on other reviews, you should probably wait at least 24 hours after your last dose of Morphine before having Suboxone. Others suggest waiting until you're well in to withdrawal, especially with Morphine. But I imagine these estimated waiting times are going to be largely dependent on several individual factors that also come into play. Everyone has different tolerance levels and different body chemistry that effects metabolism and excretion rates. However, in my personal opinion, 31+ h... ...

Down to 30mg morphine from 300. Out of pills, so friend gave me a 8mg Sub. To help. Waited 24hrs til i was sick. Took 2mg and was on top. Best mood and pain relieve ever. Want to continue quick taper. Pills weren't made to break in 8 pcs. Friend won't give up a strip. Selfish pig. Their are 2mg hex tabs available, right! ## If I were u I would go 2 the Dr. And get on suboxone. It works wonders on taking away cravings and w/d. Any other ??? Feel free 2 ask. I was on methadone then got on subs. Best thing I've ever done. And, it's hard b cause people don't want 2 give them up. A lot of people get UA's done from the Dr. 2 check you're levels. help-procedure ok to take vicodine with suboxone?
Hi. I am having a procedure done and am being prescribed vicodin. I am currently on suboxone. I WILL NOT take the vicodine unless I am in excrutiating pain. Would suboxone help with the pain? And if I do have to take the vicodine how long should I wait to take it after taking suboxone? THANKS! ## Vicodin will not do anything taken with the Suboxone. Suboxone contains an opiate neutralizer to help prevent you from getting high and taking other drugs while under treatment. Vicodin is also nowhere near as strong as the Suboxone, so it will be liking taking TicTacs for your pain in comparison. Suboxone is a narcotic, so it will help with the pain and you should be fine with just that. ## Suboxone does not help relieve any pain what so ever. I am on suboxone, but if you have to take vicodin ... ...
