How Long Can You Take Lexamil

Hi, My doctor has prescribed 10 mg lexamil for me and I havnt started taking it yet. I've been suffering with anxiety for a while and taking .5 mg alzam and 7.5 mg zopiclone to manage the condition. However the last 3 months ive been having tight chest pains, been for ecgs xrays etc, all clear..doc prescribed muscle relaxant which works a little bit but I find if i take half a zopiclone it really eases off the tightness immediately. I know this has something to do with gaba receptors but what I would really like to know is if anyone else has had these symptoms and if going on 10mg lexamil in conjunction wit the alzam n zopiclone will help with the anxiety? ## Hello, Ash! I have been on Lexamil 2 mg for about 8 years. How long does it take to go out of your system. I am n my 6th day and feel energized, a bit of headache.... ## Hello, Claudette! How are you? It takes anywhere from 135 to 192 hours, based on its half-life, so that means 8 days, at the most. However, that does not necessarily mean that the side effects and withdrawal effects will be gone within that time frame, because that is a different matter. A headache can be a normal withdrawal effect, you may also experience dizziness, diarrhea, round depression and anxiety. Is there anything else I can help with?

My husband is on lexamil 20mg, one a day.. I want to know when i should take my Lexamil (day or night) because i feel like sleeping the whole day? ## Drowsiness can be a normal side effect, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight changes. You can take it at night, if the works better for you, unless your doctor has stated otherwise. Hi. I just had a meltdown a few weeks ago and was hospitalized. Stilnox helped for the first week, then I started waking up during the night. I am now on dormonoct 2mg in the evening and I take lexamil 20mg in the morning. The dormonoct used to affect my system within half an hour, but now it takes longer, sometimes up to 2 or 3 hours. I was prescribed Lexamil in France after he death of my husband, and found them to be a great help. Since coming to England I cannot get it from my G P. What is the equivalent in England. ## I'm don't know what the name brand would be there, but the active ingredient/generic would be Escitalopram, it's an SSRI antidepressant. Hi, I have been on Lexamil 10mg for 2 years and then about a hear ago my dr increased the dosage to 20mg, which I took for 6 months. However I have stop taking the meds approx 6 months ago. I am a very bad pill drinker and then to forr. I feel that I struggle more with anxiaty than depression and rather preferred Azor/Xanor SR. Would you recommend me going back oono Lexamil? I have been taking Lexamil 10mg to 20mg for one and a half months. My body feels stiff and tingly nervous. How long before I start feel relaxed and calm. If Lexamil is not the right medication for me, what would you advise I take instead.
