I took half a subutex at 11am this morning and have to work a 10hr overnight shift. I need to know when I can take my lortab 10s before I feel relief? My neck has been broken twice in the past 4yrs. I took 3/4 of subutex yesterday at 3 pm and the rest at 1/4 at 5 am im still in alot of pain how long before I can take a methadone ## That would depend on how much methadone. Subutext doesn't have Naloxin in it do withdrawls wouldn't be in your future. However subutext is more efficient if taken at the same time everyday, here's why. When you take it the sub builds up in your plasma and has a much longer life than methadone or other opiates. As it stays it builds up the plasma levels out, creating like a barrier for pain. Does that make sense to you? When the levels drop you start to feel more pain and eventually withdrawls if not continue and also if your building a tolerance which I have had issues with and never had with other opiates. i was on methadone 3x10mg plus roxicodone (oxocodone fast release) 3-5 @ 30mg/day. I stopped methadone several days ago and roxi a day and a half ago before starting subutex treatment today. I did not go into rapid w/d but feeling lousy now. I took 20mg of sub and feel a partial w/d like a weak flu and general lousiness. can't sit around and just want time to pass so I feel better. I take 3-5mg Valium plus 3-8mg subutex daily. I've heard its not a good combo to take at all! I take the Valium for panic and anxiety attacks and take the subutex for chronic pain. I was in a motorcycle accident and died but lucky i am alive today! I've been worried because even the paperwork that comes with my subutex for the pharmacy says DO NOT Take subutex if you're taking Valium! I cant find a good answer. What is the maximum dose of suboxone or subutex when you have severe pain? ## What is the maximum daily dose of subutex? I'm taking it to wean off of opiate pain killers but may need to stay on it for chronic pain. My doctor has me taking 2mg up to 6 times a day, but it feels like too much and I feel sick at 6 mg. I take 24 mg subutux, I was told to stop taking it 2 days prior to surgery an was prescribed 10 mg oxycodone 4 times a day for withdrawel. I has surugery yesterday and was told to double the oxygen and take 20 mg every 4 hours. l I can not sleep I am in withdrawel and in agony. ## Did you contact your doctor? The Buprenorphine in Subutex is a very strong narcotic opiate, so you might not be on a high enough dosage of the Oxycodone to actually help. I can understand their not wanting you to take it for surgery, but did they say why they didn't want you going back on it afterwards? It can handle pain and would have avoided these types of problems. ## I feel awful for you have you told them yet...if so go to the er!

I am on day 10 of a Subutex detox and I still feel kind of crappy and my head is really cloudy. I have to go for a job interview and I was wondering if anyone knew what would happen if I took an opiate to feel better for the interview would it affect my sub detox and set me back. ## No, it’ll make u feel a lot better. My friend found a white round pill with the number 54 at the top the a half mark then the numbers 732 at the bottom of the pill ## I took a subutex 5 nights ago and totally felt it. To make this short, I am currently 8 months pregnant and taking between 8-12 mg of subutex daily. However I can't get my subutex for 12 days. I'm stuck. I have been on subutex for 2 years or more, recently my boyfriend decided we both should try lowering our dosage. After 3-7 days of lowering my dose, I am starting into withdrawal within hours of taking my lowered dose. Why am I in REAL withdrawal even though I have taken a dose of my subutex? I have been on subutex for 5 years as I have multiple sclerosis and it was prescribed for pain. I am into my 3rd day off of subutex and I feel terrible.
