How Long After Taking Zolpidem Do You Go To Sleep

My pain Dr. has okayed it for me to take Ambien (Zolpidem) at night. I take Oxycodone during the day only. He said I do need a primary care Dr. to prescribe the Ambien. Is it okay to take both of these within the same 24 hour period? ## Yes I did for awhile. I liked restoril better but they wouldn’t let me take a benzo sleeping pill with oxy. ## You can take them both, if your doctor(s) approve. However, the FDA does warn that doing so may worsen the severity of some of the usual side effects, which may include nausea, sedation, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and disorientation. You are completely right about Torrent manufactured generic Ambien. I am also using Medco but they had been sending me a white football shaped pill for generic Ambien 10 mg, that worked okay, not really that good, just okay. Then this month they sent me this peach colored oblong shaped pill with 3 dots on one side and 10 mg on the other and I haven't been able to get to sleep at all this month. I don't understand why anyone would do this to people who can't sleep. I'm a long term user of zolpidem. Whenever I forget to take this medicine I have horrible dreams, sweats and a poor night's sleep. With zolpidem I sleep very well.I guess I should continue zolpidem indefinitely as long as my doctor approves. Also, MEDCO is now sending me pale orange zolpidem instead of white. This brand does not work at all....Have taken ambien generic all along with no problem. Until this brand...Kinney's is mandated to dispense this brand... Does not work. Hi, i have been taking the about drug for 8weeks but didnt have any the last couple of days untill today when i did get some. I normaly only take a night and never in the day time but when i got them to day i took 3 to get this feelings of me coz of having nother for 2 days but instead of the pills getting me to sleep they just made me feel better then i did today and yesterday. Just received my prescription of Lypin 10 that's made in India. White bar shaped pills labeled JPEE labs. They aren't actually Ambien. They might have trace Ambien in them. Started me at 50 mg for 4 weeks, slept very little. I was prescribed Ativan 1 mg helped me sleep about 6 to 7 hours. My Doc took me off after prescribing me 5 pills 3 times, total of 15. My Zoloft was raised from 50 mg to 100mg, now I'm having more trouble than ever sleeping. I went to my pcp and was prescribed zolpidem tartrate 5 mg, tablets. I took a 5 mg tablet once a night for 2 nights and couldn't sleep. I called pharmacist and was told to take 2 5 mg tablets, total of 10 mg per night. I have insomnia issues long term since APS related migraines etc.. Loved the Zolpidem 5mg pink caplets(oval) as could break even into 3 if it is 4 in the morning but am bouncing off rem sleep. Taking Lupin zolpidem ER round blue..works great. Pharmacy now has Sandoz zolpidem ER round pink. Both 12.5. Totally ineffective. Have gone back and forth before due to what pharmacy gets. I use this 10 mg (TEVA 74) generic Ambien. Empty bottle, but 2 in pill box so I verified ID. I always cut it because 5 mg almost always does the sleepy job. Often take quarter pill, then an another 1/4 pill if still awake 1/2 hr later.
