private doc to prescribe methodone in tallahassee area
Just looking for a private doc to get methadone. I am tired of going to the clinic everyday ## Hello, Little One! How are you? I'm sorry, but a private doctor isn't allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment. That can only be done by those that have been specially trained in its use for such, which means a clinic is your only option. But have you considered treatment with Suboxone? Learn more Suboxone details here. It is prescribed to be taken at home, rather than daily treks to a clinic and it also usually allows people to end up completely drug free, rather than requiring a lifetime maintenance dose like Methadone. It is, however, still a narcotic opiate, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness,... ...

Good lucj my friend. you are not alone. ## hang in there just dont let yourself run out of them. you should break them in 1/4 s and take a piece when you need it the most. a piece should make the WD tolerable for 12hrs ## You most definatlely need to talk with your doct... ...

260mgs of methadone how many 8mgs of dilaudid do i need? ## you'll need 88mgs ## Are you trying to self-medicate? Was this prescribed or do you have a drug problem? Trying to do this is never a good idea and could be very dangerous with potential fatal consequences. These are both very potent narcotic medications. Said, for oral medications, 7.5mgs of Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) is equal to 20mgs of Methadone, so 260mgs actually converts to 97.5mgs, or 12.18 of the 8mg tablets. This is an extremely high dosage to take of either one of these medications. Have you consider possible treatment with Suboxone? You can see if it is available in your area at: Click Here It contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine and is an opiate that has helped many people with drug addiction... ...

Green Roxy Codone
what can I do to get a 26 year old girl off of roxie cotton? and percosets ? ## To start, you are already on the right track to helping her, just by posting on here. There are many users within this forum that have the personal experience of tapering off these medications. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. I think the thread below can provide some helpful advice on withdrawing from these medications (suboxone, norco, and methadone are also mentioned as being helpful in the case of very serious addicts): If this... ...

Is Butal a narcotic
I take Suboxone for fear of ever being back on the evil Methadone and it's working wonderfully. But I get horrid migraines and have these Butal with 30mg COD and was wondering if withdrawal would take place because of Naloxone? Bbuck ## It won't hurt. It won't help. You'll simply waste the meds ## It is the COD that is actually the narcotic, that stands for Codeine and the Naloxone in the Suboxone will neutralize it, so there's no point in taking it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you consulted your doctor? They should be able to help you determine what medication may help. ...

On sub for 6 days and want to stop now before dependence .. PLEASE HELP
So I'm hoping someone here can help me, I was addicted to percocet after several knee surgeries and knew that I was dependant, I couldn't afford to get sick from wd as I work a very demanding FT job and take care of a home, 3 kids, husband.. Hands are full.. Anyhow, I went to see a suboxone doctor after hearing this would be a great way to avoid the deathly wd symptoms.. This has been the most shameful, humiliating and degrading clinic experience ever... Not sure if anyone has been to ontario canada and have had to go through the clinics here.. Let me start, first apt, walk in and clinic full of street ppl, serious drug abusers mostly dependant on methadone and then trying to sell it right outside the clinic amungst other things, totally intimidating for someone like me that has... ...

pregnant and needing help
I've been on Suboxone since April 2012. Last week I found out I am pregnant, and am about four weeks along. I called my doctor who prescribes the Suboxone, and she has left me with a difficult ultimatem. She has prescribed subutex for a week, and then my treatment is up to me. I either need to go to methadone clinic (which is too far for me to drive daily, and id have to win the lotto to afford it) or risk a miscarriage by not taking anything. She will only help me for a week. I've contacted the Suboxone hotline, and women can take subutex or methadone while pregnant with less risk than Suboxone. Where can I look.for another doctor? I feel like no one will want to treat me since my doc is basically throwing me out. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas of where I can look.for.h... ...

find adoctor in a that prescribes subutex virginia
I am detoxing off 130 mg tht I have been on for 6 years. I need a doctor in VA or NC, I live near Norfolk. Everyone wants to prescribe suboxone but my doctor warned me that if I take suboxone and have ANY methadone in my system that it will throw me into SEVERE withdrawal. Also, we are going to be trying for a baby soon so I cannot take Suboxone while breastfeeding. If you know of a doctor in or around Norfolk VA that can prescribe Subutex, not Suboxone please notify immediately. ## Really, the same doctors that prescribe Suboxone can also prescribe Subutex. Learn more Suboxone details here. However, they are most likely going to want you to start with Suboxone, then switch to Subutex, when you are pregnant. They will just have you wait, until you are in full withdrawal to start the med... ...

Need To Know What A 10mg Morphine Pill Looks Like
Can a 10mg morphine pill have NO markings or NO coating on it? Also does it melt on your tounge? ## No, all Morphine tablets have markings on them, to enable their identification and there aren't any that are meant to be dissolved in the mouth, in the U.S. Two that are commonly designed as sublingual tablets are Suboxone and some forms of Methadone, but even those in the U.S. have markings on them to enable their identification. However, all of this information isn't relevant to foreign medications, because other countries have their own laws. Does anyone else have any ideas what this might be? ## i have some small white pillswith an M on one side an #4 on lthe outher , what would thay be ...

For you to get off methadone i would talk to ur doctor and search other detoxing treatments because you may or may not want my help but if you get on the suboxone you will get hooked just like the methadone. Switching from Opana to Oxycontin
Hello, I am currently dependent on Opana and every time I lower it I get very sick. My plan is to decrease daily and I'm not doing well with that. I am severely allergic to Suboxone so my approach would be a Methadone taper however I don't know how much? I plan to switch to Oxycontin tomorrow to see if I can at least to that. I'm scared and broke as well As humiliated. Any suggestions please ## Hi, Susie! Sorry about the problem that you're having. Reducing daily is actually a very bad idea. In order to avoid the severe withdrawal effects that make you so ill, it needs to be tapered very slowly. I understand that it is frustrating, but that's really the only way it will work…..both Methadone and Suboxone are tapered very, very slowly, sometimes over a period of... ...

My friend told me to take this drug to get off of morphene. Do you think this makes sense or is this drug just as bad . Thanks for the help . ## There actually is no medication under that name, that is actually a misunderstood combination of 2 different medications. Oxi is often used to refer to the narcotic Oxycodone and Opana contains the narcotic Oxymorphone, both of which are very potent and can be habit forming and addictive in their own right. The medications that are most commonly used to treat addiction problems are Methadone and Suboxone, but both of them require a doctor's supervision and prescriptions. Have you consulted a doctor for assistance? ...

2 week Sub Detox
I have been hooked on roxis and methadone for the past 10 years. Before I got on suboxone I quit taking the methadone for two weeks but was taking 400 mg of roxis per day. I got put on subs exactly 1 week ago at 8 mgs per day but am currently down t to taking 3 mgs a day and plan on tapering to 2 mg tomorrow and tapering to .5 mg by the end of the second week and then quitting. My question is once I quit the subs at .5 how bad will my withdraws be?? I only wanted to stay on subs for two weeks so I didn't get addicted. All of these horror stories of coming off of subs made me decide to only stay on them for two weeks. Will someone please reply and let me know how bad these withdraws will be once I quit??? All responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks ## Hello, Based on my research, s... ...

Thanks ## Yes, I am also hoping you got the answers you needed from your doctor, or clinic. Unfortunately, I don't have any information on switching from Suboxone to Methadone, or what the proper procedure is. Most of the questions we receive are in regards to switching from other drugs to Suboxone, since it allows you to become completely drug free, where Methadone usually doesn't. I AM ON 60 MG OF METHADONE A DAY I HAVE BEEN FOR 9 YEARS I CANT EVEN GET PASS THE DETOX DOES ANYONE HAVE ADVICE ## Unfortunately, Methadone is very well known for being extremely addictive, even when used properly, under a doctor's supervision. That's why, when used to treat drug addiction, many patients end up on a lifetime maintenance dose of it and never truly being able to get drug free. In addition, the withdrawals that it can cause are severe and can put someone in life threatening danger. Have you consulted a doctor for assistance? I am not sure how well it works with people that are on Methadone, but Suboxone might help you. ## yeah go down to 20 mg. of methadone. skip one day (that would be 24 hours) then start soboxion.
