How Long After Taking 2mg Of Suboxone Can You Use Opiate

I have been on 8 mg/2mg Suboxone strips for 1 year. I am having a tooth (back molar) extraction in the morning. I used my Suboxone strip this morning & the tooth extraction is at 9:30 am tomorrow. If I don't use another Suboxone strip before the extraction, would I be able to take Hydrocodone after my surgery? I don't want to get sick, but I am terrified of going through this surgery with no pain meds. I am prescribed fentanyl 25mcgs/hr. Sometimes I have trouble keeping the patch on. I had a couple fall off early this month and couldn't get my refill early. So I decided I would use Subxn to help if there was withdrawal. It worked good, but now it's time for me to stop and put back on my patch. I don't know how long I have to wait. In the last 2 days I have taken total, 2mgs maybe less of suboxone. How long will it take for the suboxone to be out of my system. I have not been on suboxone prior to those 2 days. ## Suboxone, which contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone is a very potent opiate/narcotic. You should know that it is dangerous to use without a doctor's supervision. That said, with that low of a dosage and non-frequent use, it should be out of your system in 48 to 72 hours. Hi. I have been addicted to H/oxycontin for two years. I got clean for 4 months once and never got back to using everyday. I use at the most 3 days a week but most of the time I use just friday night and saturday. When im off opiates i always take 2mg of suboxone daily. To make a long story short I was being prescribed opiate pain meds by the VA and when I got a new doctor they just cut me off with no explanation. I went into with drawls and needed some help feeling better and was told about the subxone program by a social worker. I was desperate for help so I went there and well I felt better. I was able to get a referral back to my spine doctor and they want me back on pain meds and to treat me as an entire patient not just a partial.
