My husband cought attack of anxiety in 2009. That time dr prescribed Nexito LS since he is taking every night half tab. But now he want stop I can't he feels uneasyness pls suggest ## Hello, Anita! How is your husband doing? If he has been taking it for years, then it would be normal to have withdrawal effects, if he tries to stop suddenly. A slow tapering is usually best, to prevent him from feeling the withdrawal symptoms. Has he consulted his doctor? They should be able to help him set up a good and safe tapering schedule. Usually, the modern method is to have the person start skipping days, like taking it every other day for a week, then skipping every 2 days and so on.

I've been taking sertaline for about a month now 50mg it was increased to 75 mg but I stay at 50 it gives me a weird feeling like a down feeling is this normal. ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? Why aren't you taking the 75mg dosage? The U.S. FDA classifies this as an SSRI antidepressant and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. It can cause some people to feel depressed, rather than lifting the depression as it should. Have you informed your doctor? It may not be the right medication for you.

How long does it take Multaq to get into your system and actually work? I started taking it this morning and it has been 3 1/2 hours and nothing. ## Never mind. I found out the answer. It takes 2-4 days. It didn't work for me so I have to check into other options. ## Hi Kat, Thanks for providing valuable feedback from your own personal experience. Hopefully it'll help others who may be facing similar problems... I was just wondering though if you based your evaluations off of taking Multaq on an empty stomach or with meals? Surely it gets into a patient's system the same day it's consumed, but I'm guessing there's a certain threshold of how much is built up before one notices how it really affects them day to day - Is that right? At any rate, I'm sorry to hea...

Drugs and their remedies ## (Just an educated guess) The chemical makeup of the drug and its ingredients contribute to how it affects your body. Essentially, one takes a drug to achieve a certain effect or remedy. The problem with many prescription drugs is that the chemical makeup and/or ingredients may conflict with other mechanisms, for lack of a better term and pose unwanted side effects. I would conclude that the molecular structure of the ingredients in the pill can bond with such an illness to fight it off. I am not an MD, so please do not take these statements as one-hundred percent facts, but an educated guess based on my previous studies. I do know however that natural drugs, such as pure essential oils (if you can call these drugs), have a similar chemical makeup to the human...

Hi. I'm having a little urinary incontinence trouble and would like to find out how Toviaz (fesoterodine fumarate) works, how good it works, and when are the times after consumption when it works best? Thank you all in advance for your replies. Hang in there guys. Love you all. ## Fesoterodine works as a bladder relaxant, so it stops the spasms that cause you to feel the need to urinate frequently. As to how good it works, or the times it works best, there really is no pat answer that can be given, since it can vary from person to person. Has your doctor prescribed it for you? If so, have you tried it, yet? Its side effects may include dry mouth, dizziness, constipation, cough, and stomach pain.

I got bitten by a spider and the hospital gave me Sulfamethoxazole to take for 7 days. How long will it be before the redness goes away so I can go back to work? The red spot is about the size of a quarter. Thank you. ## Hello, Carmel! How are you? The general rule with antibiotics is that if they are working you shouldn't see any worsening after taking them for a full 24 hours and you should start to see improvement after taking them for a full 3 days. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Where can i get a prescription for these? I have a UTI. My vagina is red and also is itching. I need relief quickly. Please help me. I'm in port shepstone.

If you keep going back to DOC and suboxone, it will take more of the subs to feel relief. Why is that? ## It is normal for your body to get used to anything that you ingest for a long period of time, and for it to eventually stop working as well for you, so you require a dosage adjustment, according to the NIH. It doesn't happen to everyone and the time frame can vary from person to person in those that experience it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
