Hydrocodone / acetaminophen
Hi everyone... To the point - I have arthritis due to many years of rough living (motorcycle accident -2- and bull riding and as such have had multiple broken bones... Long story short; I've been on Norcos for roughly 6 years and am worried about the constant daily intake of acetaminophen and what it may potentially be doing to my liver... My current dose is 1-Norco when I wake / 1 or 2 at lunch / then another 1 or 2 again at bedtime... I've been prescribed Oxycontin but could not get along with it at all - it made me incredibly tired and itchy... So, would a drug such as opana be a viable option for someone like me? My Md assures me I'm okay at my current level of acetaminophen but I worry... Does anyone have any experience with a switch such as the one I propose? ## Yes, a... ...

Oxycodone 30mg Shortage In Florida
This is a nightmare!! I suffer from multiple auto-immune diseases such as Connective Tissue Disease, R.A, Livedo, Raynauds, & traces of Lupus. All of which cause EXCRUTIATING PAIN!! On top of all of those, my body attacks itself 24/7!! Over the years the doctors have tried a ridiculous amount of different pain medications. I called it the 'medication game', & it was anything but fun!! Either there was minimal to no relief with them, or they made me feel awful! They tried everything from Percocet 10mgs, Endocet, Methadone 45mgs per day, oxycontin, Hydromorphine 4mgs tablets & 8 mg tablets, & all medicatons are/were accompanied by Ibproufen 800 mgs capsules. During one hospital visit they even had me on a conjunction of Dilauded 8mgs PLUS oxycontin 20 mgs, every 3 ... ...

Liquid Oxycotin
the old oxycotin worked great for my 6 herniaed dics but the new OP oxycotin comes no were as near the releif and a shorter pain releaf. I was on 3 80mg oc (now OP) does the liquid (or did they redo the liquid too) still act as the old OC made by perdue thank you ## Yes, we have had may complaints about the new Oxycontin formulation not working as well as the old one and that it can cause unusual side effects. I encourage everyone that has had problems with it to report it to both the FDA and Purdue, so they are aware of the issue, you can do so at the following numbers: Purdue Pharma number for drug safety/medication issues: 888.726.7535 FDA MedWatch number: 800-332-1088 And as to the liquid, no those formulations have not been changed, but they are not able to be time released, so it ... ...

pane pills
of 10-11-12 roxy 30s r no good the fda has cut them thay will make you have with drows every day if you take them ## I'm sorry, but I believe you have some misinformation here. The FDA has done nothing to the existing Roxicodone, or its generics on the market in any dosage. They are still the same as they have always been. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Purdue has changed the Oxycontin formulation, but even it doesn't contain anything that will make a person go into withdrawals. Where did you get such information? ## thats what you think look it up the fda has pulled all opiods in february 2012 said they made them to big or to strong and replaced them in all drugstore's to me i think they r like methodone iv bin takeing them for 4 year's. now ther weak. ## No, bandit... ...

yellow xanax pill
106 S ## You are reading it upside down. It is S 901 not 106 S. It's a .5 mg generic Xanax. You can see a related discussion thread . ## Xanax and valium are great. ## the yellow pills with 106 on one side and s on the other are .5mg Xanax. I asked my pharmacist. ## Its Generic for .5mg xanax the pharmaceutical company is Dava the same ones that make the green 2mg bars click the link below. ## I have yellow .5mg xanax, but they are normally peach. I was wondering if because they're new, they are doing to xanax what they just did with oxycontin and made them so you can't abuse them? Just wondering why they look different! ## thanks for the info thought i would have to kill someone ## I thought the same thing...first I seen them and looked it up wrong,..like many others,..but... ...

595 m orange round pill
round m 595 ## I am also questioning this same pill. does anybody know what this is??? ## Beige round pill with an M inside a box with a 595 in the middle on the other side is a generic oxycodone 40 mg pill ## I've had people say its a mussle relaxer and other's tell me it's a generic for oxycodone 40mg. I think it's a mussle relaxer. ## I'm about to take it, I'll let you know if it's oxycodone. ;] ## A round orange pill with a capital 'M' inside of a square box on one side and 595 on the other side is not a muscle relaxer. It's a generic Oxycontin 40 (Oxycodone - 40 mg Time Released). For anyone who takes them for pain the are the exact equivalent of a regular Oxycontin 40. However, they are not the same at all. Need doctor who will prescribe methodone for chronic severe pain.
I have a rare kind of polyneuropathy that affects my long nerves. I have had severe chronic pain for over 8 years. My pain doctor in Florida switched me from oxycontin to methadone because the oxycodone made it difficult to sleep. I recently moved to Mass. and so far the two doctors I've been to eliminated my breakthrough meds (oxycodone 30 mg. 4 times a day) and decreased my methadone from 140 mg a day (taken evenly in 10 mg a day) to 70 mg a day (10 mg. tabs throughout the day) and I am back to excruciating pain. I cannot work, eat a healthy diet, sleep, take care of my family, etc. Why don't any of these doctors realize that although there are risks related to taking opiates, that QUALITY of life is what is important to me? Do you know of any doctors in Mass. (Lowell area) th... ...

oxy codone 30mg
Knoledgeable about all the different brands of oxy codone, broke my neck in a car accident october 2009 and been going back and forth to pain management doctors ## Are you referring to brands, formulations or manufacturers? There are 3 brand name for Oxycodone, by itself, on the U.S. market and each represents a different formulation. There is Oxycontin, which is a 12-hour time released formulation, Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation and OxyIR, which is an instant release formulation. Of those, the Roxicodone and OxyIR are both available as generics and those are made by many different manufacturers. Then, there are the combinations that are available. Percocet is a regular release formuation that contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, it is also available as a generic ma... ...

Methadone 80 mg.pill
Is there such a thing as a 80 mg.Methadone?I know there is a 40mg pill, but is there an 80mg??? ## No matches came up based on an 80 mg dose. I would have to say no. If anybody knows otherwise, please post back ! ## No there is no such thing as either a 40 or 80 mg pill...there are 40 mg wafers of which are only availiable through a clinic. There are only 5 and 10 mg pills... And they are the worst drug ever invented. Great if you are gonna be on narcotics literally for the rest of your life!! you will never get off them and if you do your memory will be ruined. My dad has had 13 back surgerys as well as an electronic stimulator for his legs and he went through the 100 mg of norco a day(made him angry) and the 80 mg of oxycontin a day and after finding out he liked the buzz he weened dow... ...

methodone
I am taking oxycohdone. I was taking methodone, and I am still having no luck with my pain and all the doctors I have seen won't give me anything stronger. Can I take both kinds of pills to help get rid of the pain? ## white round pill with watson 932 ## Its not a good idea at all! Your doctor may have short changed you when he did the conversion? I took Methadone for 11 years before switching to Oxycontin 3 months ago. The switch was very difficult! I had Methadone withdrawals for 3 weeks which made my pain even worse. I continued to hurt much more than I ever had while taking Methadone but my pain doc wanted me to give it 2 full months. I was about at wits end when the 2 months were up. That's when my doc reworked the conversion and admitted he short changed me because its not... ...

what is oxycontin op mean
Oxycontin 80mg. OP, green & round shaped ## I got my meds this month and the label says 80mg oxycontin and the pill is the same color but the other side of the pill has OP stamped on it and I didn't recieve any warning labels on it or paper work saying it was changed whats going on with this med and why ## It is the same medication, just a new marking and it has been specially made to help prevent abuse. Oxycontin OP cannot be crush, chewed or broken down. If someone tries, it basically turns into a gummy goo, that is supposed to only dissolve in stomach acid and retain its time released properties. It is also made by the same company, Purdue and has replaced the regular that had the OC marking. Side effects remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Do you ha... ...

oxycontin ChAnges
I do not take oxycontin anymore n haven't for past 3 yrs.although my mother does for her terrible pain issues, she is 64. One day she came to she came me and said, "Donna I don't feel , like I'm withdrawing and my pain is level is really high. So we went a looked at her meds. We found that some didn't look like her usual 80mg. We at first thought that the pharmacy made a mistake, so I checked drugs.com and found they were new. Pharma perdue has made these new oxy's that are a rip off to insurance companies. They are still outrageously priced but do not work properly. They may work for new users but not old ones.I had made a switch sometime ago to opana, so I got my switched over. Well they work great for me but I find that they do not last 12 hours. So, I'm g... ...

First time user of Oxycontin
I have taken Vicodin, Loritab(cet), Hydrocodone, etc. Percoset make me hyper for some reason. The question I have is I just came across some 40mg OP(yeah OP) oxycontin. I don't snort, smoke, or shoot pills. I take them orally. Is a 40mg OP too much for a first time user? ## By the way I'm about 5'7, 240lbs, 37yo. ## That is a somewhat high dose, but it really depends on your tolerance to narcotics. Someone who has taken them frequently and in high doses is going to need a higher dose of it, in order to have any effect on their pain. However, if the Percocet made you hyper, you may run into the same problem here, since it also contains Oxycodone, coupled with Acetaminophen. Have you consulted a doctor? Since it is a narcotic, it can also cause side effects, such as: nausea, d... ...

Searching For Generic Oxycontin By Actavis
I read that Actavis is makeing a generis OxyContin, I am prescribed 80mg. OxyContin, and because all the idiots that abused the original. Purdue had no choice but to make it to where u could no longer snort it, shoot it, plus I was told it was smoked as well. I am not looking for a generic that is made like the original, I am looking for a generic made like the namebrand is made now, I am just looking for a generic to save money. I am spending $15 a pill, and that is rediculas. OxyContin is the only time release medication that works for me, and I have been takeing it since 1997. Some Company needs to step in and help those who are in C.P. and no ins. I use to get the generics for a RX of 180 pills, in one month went up from $395.00 to next month $900.00. The next month $1575, and the P... ...

What Is The Equivilant Of 80 Oxycontin And Opana
I have been on oxycontin 80 mg. they made me really sick and did not help my pain. What is the equivalent of oxy. 80 mg and opana? ## Information that I've gathered on this topic from various references states the following: "All opioids have different effects. There is no such thing as "equivalent" dosages. Body chemistry is very different in everyone, so an "equivalent" dosage for one person could cause another to OD" Just to further reiterate this - according to opiate equivalency tables, 40mg of Oxymorphone (opana) injected roughly equals 800mg of Oxycodone." (This is not a typo). What I highly recommend, is to discuss your situation with a qualified doctor instead of asking someone else what an equivalent dose would be, since it can vary on a case by... ...

PM DR told me that they are going to stop production of oxycodone and oxycontin in next few months????
I live in Florida and im one of the many people that dont abuse the narcotic pain medications i have to go through h*** to get a hold of each month. i visited my pain management dr this morning and she told me that the meds will be removed from the market and that they may introduce a new form of it 18 mos from the time its stopped being made. she said its some pill that when crushed or damaged turns into a crytal like super hard substance. i could care less what happens when theyre broken for i take mine whole and not once have i ever got a "buzz" from them. BASICALLY IS THIS INFORMATION TRUE BECAUSE IF SO I WILL HAVE TO END MY LIFE RATHER THAN PUT MYSELF IN THE PAIN I WAS IN BEFORE THESE MIRACULOUS MEDICINES CAME INTO MY LIFEE.
