oxycodone pricing

oxycodone prices have doubled in less than 30 days in tenn. rumor has it that the manufacturers ,being top 8 have been sold an now there is only 1 producer of this product! ## It's not that there is only one manufacturer, now. That is only relevant to the name brand time released product, Oxycontin. The current problem stems from the fact that each year the DEA sets a manufacturing limit on how much of any controlled substance can be made and distributed. The figure is based on prior year prescriptions, as well as information from the FDA and the manufacturers, once the total amount is determined, it is split between the manufacturers. Usually, this gives a very good idea of how much the market will demand in the upcoming year and helps minimize how much is out there to be stolen an... ...

Round Pink Pill Ex On One Side And 20 The Other

This ex 20 is oxycotin 20 Mg made for Mexico generic for OC 20. ## I can also confirm that a round pink tablet imprinted EX on one side and 20 on the other side is a 20 mg OxyContin tablet made for export to Mexico prior to 2002. I hear that in Mexico they put EX on it and not OC. Does anyone here like this one in comparison to some of the US brands? ...

Opana/Oxymorphone Pharmacology

I would like to know why Opana ER is so powerful? It comes in 10, 20, 30, & 40 mgs. I took this medication once and it made OxyContin feel far inferior as an all around mood enhancer and pain reliever. What is the difference in the pharmacology from OxyContin to Oxymorphone? ## It is just a different medication that is stronger than Oxycodone. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Years ago, I remember Oxycontin being the most powerful one available. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Oxymorphone is to morphine what oxycodone is to codeine. There are many stronger ones then oxymorphone like fentanyl. Some of the hydrogen atoms are replaced with oxygen and it ... ...

morphine 60 mg IR

This is the highest dosage unit of immediate release morphine made anywhere, just the one brand, VERMOR-60 by Verve Healthcare. I take them simply because they are much cheaper than any other morphine sulphate I have ever come across, and I need three 'rescue' doses of an opioid analgesic daily since my Oxycontin 120mg tablets seem to last only 6 hours, and not the twelve claimed on the box... Has anybody noticed that the new caplet shaped tabs are subjectively stronger than the old round ones? ## Just as a wee addition to my original post - SEVREDOL is the 'Gold Standard' & most-dispensed brand of IR morphine, being found in most countries (as will be evident to those who use IOPs to acquire medication), & are made in green 50mg, pink 20mg and turquoise 10mg tab... ...

Can you tell me what it could be? It is a long acting drug, said to be some kind of -contin. Thanks. ## Cancer patients are normally given oxycontin. It can have nasty side effects. Some options are morphine or methadone. They have their own side effects. Or try another manufacturer. All brands are different. ## Hello, Anne! What does she mean that it doesn't agree with her? What type of symptoms is she experiencing? There is Oxycontin, MS Contin and Hydromorphcontin, so it could be any one of the 3! All of them can cause nausea, dizziness and GI issues. little round, white, with eph on one side ## Is the marking EPH or ETH? If it is ETH is made by Ethex pharmaceuticals and to be sure what it contains, you will need to post back and provide the complete imprint that is on the tablet. That is the only way to identify the ingredients. There is also no such things as Roxicontin, the correct names would be Oxycontin, which contains Oxycodone in a time released formulation or Roxicodone, which contains Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The said, Ethex does make several of these, if it has the numbers 446 on it, with the ETH, it contains 30mgs of the regular release. If it has the numbers 416 then it contains 10mgs of Oxycodone in the regular release formulation. Both are generics for Roxicodone. Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic pa... ...

percocet vs. co-codamol ?
2 Replies RSS
I have been taking percocet 7/325 three (3)X daily along with oxycontin every day for several years, prescribed by doctor due to several herniated discs. Recently I traveled out of the country and was surprised to see codeine products for sale in pharmacies without a script. I purchased a couple of boxes of Co-codamol 8/500 , hoping it would be an effective backup for times when I ran short of percocet. (I am not getting "high" for fun, I have chronic pain and a very full workload with no support system)however the co-codamol tablets don't seem to work for me unfortunately they don't really relieve my pain they just make me tired. Hi, im prescribed 80mg Oxycontin from my doctor. My other Doc writes me a prescription for 60mg Oxycontin a week later. both get filled and paid for by my insurance, sense they are different milligrams insurance covers it. Is this leagal? ## In Nj I can tell you it is illegal because you are only allowed to attend one pain mgt doc that can prescribe morphine based opiots. ## That is not correct, for a dosage change, it is perfectly legal. Most insurance plans will cover a dosage change. The problem, however, may arise in getting the same pain medication from multiple doctors, especially a narcotic. This is considered doctor hopping and is considered illegal. If one doctor prescribed it, then any dosage change should be made by the same doctor. In most cases, if you were taking a 60mg ta... ...

the new reformulatedoxicodone 40 mg ones do not work and have bad side effects. ## I take it you are referring to the time released formulation Oxycontin? We've had many complaints about them not working as well as the old formulation and causing bad/unusual side effects. However, I'm sorry to inform you that there are no longer any generic versions of it on the market. The name brand Oxycontin is the only one that is now available. Having several on the market from various manufacturers made it harder to keep track of the supply and increased the risk of theft and diversion. There are generics available of the regular release formulation, which would be Roxicodone, but not for the time released. Is there anything else I can help with? ...
