Tcl 224 Little Yellow Pill
I found a little yellow pill with the imprints TCL 224 on it in my sons room. I would like to know what it is. I asked one of my friends and he said it was a generic oxycontin 40 mg. I looked it up and couldn't find anything on it. Thanks. ## Sorry it has 242 on it not 224 ## I can't find a listing for this, but I am sure that's because it is made by TimeCaps Labs and they make mostly over the counter products, such as generics or store brands of Tylenol, Advil, cold remedies and etc. They make very few prescription drug products and none of those are controlled substances, such as Oxycodone, so it can't be that. There is a pill marked 224 that contains Oxycodone, but it doesn't have the TCL marking on it, which is probably what confused your friend. I'd suggest ... ...

I know nothing about grugs and hadn't even heard of this until now. Please help. ## The actual name is Oxycontin, it contains the narcotic Oxycodone as the active ingredient and yes, abuse could cause the type of behavior your are describing. green round pill with P on one side 80 the other
I want to know if they are in fact oxycontin 80. Thank you ## Hi stewart, Based on the description you've provided, I can confirm that the pill you have is indeed Oxycontin (80 mg). Oxycontin contains oxycodone- which is an analgesic medication synthesized from poppy-derived thebaine. Oxycodone oral medications are generally prescribed for the relief of moderate to severe pain. Currently it is formulated as single ingredient products or compounded products. Some common examples of the compounded variety's are oxycodone with acetaminophen/paracetamol or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen. The formulations are available as generics but are also made under various brand names. OxyContin is Purdue Pharma's brand for time-release oral oxycodone. The manufactu... ...

red pill with op on one side and 60 on the other
Red pill op on one side and 60 on other side ## This is a 60mg Oxycontin OP tablet, the new formulation from Purdue, the original product had an OC on it, rather than the OP. This is a potent narcotic pain reliever, it contains the active ingredient Oxycodone. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any comments or questions? ## I have been notified by my pharmacist that the 40 Oc. will no longer be available. I was wondering if the Op's have side effects that will cause your Bp meds not to work as they should. I heard that it messes up certain meds you take cause of the plastic in the op's. Opana
Has anybody tried OPANA VS OC 80s. Any feedback would be helpful ## What dosage of the Opana? The Oxymorphone in it is actually twice as strong as the Oxycodone, so if you were taking 40mgs of it, then the equivalent dose of Oxycodone would be 80mgs. Both can be effective at controlling pain, it just requires a dosage adjustment. You should also know that there are no more Oxycontin OCs. Purdue has changed the formulation and they are now Oxycontin OP. Are there any questions or comments? Does anyone else have advice to add? ## i have and they work fair for pain but made me very tired. ## DO NOT GET THE NEW OPANA 40MG ER, THEY ARE JUCK A LORTAB 10/325 WORK BETTER BEFORE A OPANA WOULD BLOW OXYCONTIN THE NEW ONE (OP)AWAY BUT NOT NOW,MY DR PUT ME BACK ON THE NEW OPANA DO NOT WORK IN 2 WEEK... ...

Hydrocodone / acetaminophen
Hi everyone... To the point - I have arthritis due to many years of rough living (motorcycle accident -2- and bull riding and as such have had multiple broken bones... Long story short; I've been on Norcos for roughly 6 years and am worried about the constant daily intake of acetaminophen and what it may potentially be doing to my liver... My current dose is 1-Norco when I wake / 1 or 2 at lunch / then another 1 or 2 again at bedtime... I've been prescribed Oxycontin but could not get along with it at all - it made me incredibly tired and itchy... So, would a drug such as opana be a viable option for someone like me? My Md assures me I'm okay at my current level of acetaminophen but I worry... Does anyone have any experience with a switch such as the one I propose? ## Yes, a... ...

Oxycodone 30mg Shortage In Florida
This is a nightmare!! I suffer from multiple auto-immune diseases such as Connective Tissue Disease, R.A, Livedo, Raynauds, & traces of Lupus. All of which cause EXCRUTIATING PAIN!! On top of all of those, my body attacks itself 24/7!! Over the years the doctors have tried a ridiculous amount of different pain medications. I called it the 'medication game', & it was anything but fun!! Either there was minimal to no relief with them, or they made me feel awful! They tried everything from Percocet 10mgs, Endocet, Methadone 45mgs per day, oxycontin, Hydromorphine 4mgs tablets & 8 mg tablets, & all medicatons are/were accompanied by Ibproufen 800 mgs capsules. I was on 3 80mg oc (now OP) does the liquid (or did they redo the liquid too) still act as the old OC made by perdue thank you ## Yes, we have had may complaints about the new Oxycontin formulation not working as well as the old one and that it can cause unusual side effects. help identifying capsules
someone gave me some big white capsules that has no numbers on them just two small black strips on each side of the pill it has powder in it and someone told me that it was either oxycodone or oxycontine 80mg has anyone ever seen these pills in that form? ## They aren't manufactured U.S. prescription medications, those are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only way you get Oxycodone like this in the U.S. would be if it was made by a compounding pharmacy, which makes no sense, because that dosage is available, so a doctor wouldn't have to order it that way. This is most likely just some over the counter product of some type. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone recognize this? ## A capsul half black half... ...

Need doctor who will prescribe methodone for chronic severe pain.
I have a rare kind of polyneuropathy that affects my long nerves. I have had severe chronic pain for over 8 years. My pain doctor in Florida switched me from oxycontin to methadone because the oxycodone made it difficult to sleep. I recently moved to Mass. and so far the two doctors I've been to eliminated my breakthrough meds (oxycodone 30 mg. 4 times a day) and decreased my methadone from 140 mg a day (taken evenly in 10 mg a day) to 70 mg a day (10 mg. tabs throughout the day) and I am back to excruciating pain. I cannot work, eat a healthy diet, sleep, take care of my family, etc. Why don't any of these doctors realize that although there are risks related to taking opiates, that QUALITY of life is what is important to me? Do you know of any doctors in Mass. (Lowell area) th... ...
