I have a question I missed my Dr's appointment and made another one unfortunently I am going to be out of my med (oxycodone) So she wrote out a script for 5 days. When I go back to get the rest of the month worth will my insurance cover it? I have mass health. They are cutting me down as I asked them to in hopex to me getting off of them soon,I just didn't know if the insurance would cover two scripts in a month period even though it's only going to be for five days until I can go back to get the rest. ## Re: "how early can you fill oxycodone pills" To ensure an accurate answer, it'd probably be best to consult the specific pharmacy location that's filling your prescription. According to the CDC.gov, state laws surrounding refills may vary. They note that in ...

Having a hard time gettin my 180 30mg legal script filled ## How and were to fill my leagal script of oxycodone 30mg 180 ## Hello, Todd! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. Unfortunately though, I don't have an answer for you. Shortages are very common this time of year, because all manufactures have a limit on how much of any controlled substance they can manufacture each year and once they hit that number, they can't manufacture and ship any more, until the new year, when they receive their new allotment amount. This was done to try to keep better track of the supply to curb theft and diversion. However, most years the projected demand is exceeded by the actual number of prescriptions written and many companies run out early. The best suggestion I can ...

My husband finally got into a pain management doctor. He is a veteran and is part of the medical VA mess. He was prescribed oxycodone by his new pain doctor and now I can not find a pharmacy in Orlando fl that will fill it. Its only 10mg. Anyone know of a location that will fill it? 10mg Oxycodone up to 30mg ## Do you mean to say that you can't find a pharmacy that will fill a 10mg oxycodone ? I take 30mg after 11 back operations and for the first time in 10 years the new pharmacist gave me the stink eye - like I wanted them early. I only wanted to check to make sure they had all 6 of my RX in stock like I've done for the last 2 years. I never run out but I guess it's just plain wrong to use pain meds made from opium. My son is just out of USMC with a medical - severe compre...

I have insurance that covers my oxycodone prescription once every 30 days. However, can I fill a prescription early if I don't use my insurance? ## The pharmacists check the Prescription Monitoring Program in your state before filling these rxs. It will depend on how early it is and also on the pharmacist. The only thing your insurance company decides is if it is too early they won't pay for it. The insurance company has nothing to do with you being able to fill it early. ## its all up to the pharmacist, you can say you are leaving town and make it sound far, so they wont say just have them call us, actually they cant anymore cuz of stick drug laws just say your leaving town for a few weeks, oxtcontin 20mg alone is $300,00 did you know that? but Oxycodone 10 mg are not expensive...

I filled my Rx at a different pharmacy to save time and received this version of Percocet a333. It's terrible! The regular ones I receive (by a completely different manufacturer than this or Watson) work pretty well. My issue is just worsening so They just aren't effective. Then when I opened this bottle, noticed the texture was different. It was early morning and dark so I took my normal 1/2 so I can go back to sleep. Felt no relief like I normally feel enough to sleep comfortably. Had to double check to make sure I didn't put Tylenol in one of the bottles for travel. Took the other half. Feels as weak as Tylenol in regards to my level of relief (almost none). Took my next full dose at when enough time had passed. Still, very little relief. This isn't the first time this w

Hello Everyone. Hopefully someone on here will be able to help me. My family and I are getting ready to go on 10 day cruise. I have been taking OXYCODONE 30mg for over 15 years. I have a totally legitimate prescription for my medication but on the "fill date", we will be in the Carribean, more specifically Montego Bay, Jamaica (we will also be visiting the Grand Caymans, Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. We will be leaving the United Statrs 5 days prior to fill date so filling it early, even with my doctors approval, isn't an option due to the new rules/regulations that govern "schedule II" narcotics. My question: If I make a copy of my original prescription, will any of the afore mentioned places fill my prescription? Thank you in advance for any and all help or advic...

looking for a pharmacies that will fill a prescription for oxycodone in jacksonville flordia ## Good luck with that. I went to 63 pharmacies in Jax trying to fill a legitimate rx (MS / 22 yrs) with cash in hand, before giving up. I normally fill it through my insurance company's mail order pharmacy, which has never been a problem (because it's not based in Florida)... But this new wonderful healthcare system of ours has resulted in me getting dropped from my plan -- and now I'm one of the 28,000+ people who don't have insurance yet because of that website snafu in early March when I enrolled/paid. I've never been a government naysayer, but this is beyond unacceptable. Out of meds and getting sicker, but totally helpless.

I have stage 3 lung cancer and i am prescribed oxycodone 30mg. My doc did not put a fill by date on my prescription. May I fill early? ## Just because he didn't put that date on there, doesn't change when you can have it filled. Pharmacies keep track of the days supply each prescription should provide and it is very strict, when it comes to controlled substances. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I am very sorry about your lung cancer. If your current dosing isn't handling your pain, you should speak to your doctor, you are among those on the exceptions list who can be prescribed more. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have had my ...

Anyone know of a dr in sonoma county, CA who prescribes oxycidone and takes medi-care? Ive been taking 100mgs for several years and my meds were stolen so my primary cancelled my contract. I had not breached my contract b4. No early fills, etc... I think she just wanted me off & that was her opportunity. ## Hello, Jay! How are you? Yes, if she was a PCP that might be so, because they are actually supposed to cut down on who they prescribe such medications for, due to new regulations that were put in place last year. If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such a...

I have taken 4- 20mg oxycodone a day for 5 years due to a severe car accident I had. I will try to make my story as short as possible. I would appreciate any help any one can give me: Yesterday I went in to get my meds refilled, I was 8 days early which is 32 pills for me. I dont know what happend. I just know their gone so im assuming they were stolen . This is not the first time this has happend. My docs office sent in my prescription for 10 oxycodone. Walmart says they are waiting for prior authorization. From my insurance? What if that is not given? Would the pharmacy allow me to pay out of pocket? Or is that considered addict behaviour? This is not a med I'm trying to fill early. ## Yes, you should be given that option, as long as you aren't trying to get it early, which you have already stated you are not doing. My husband was recently out of a medication, and they said our insurance said it wasn't time for a fill, yet, but we were welcome to purchase as much as he needed, out of pocket, to make sure he didn't run out, until they authorized it. Unfortunately, sometimes, insurance companies can be very strict about prior authorization, and not take into accoun...

I am getting this other generic oxycodone 10 mg, smaller pill and no line , it doesn't seem to work as well, anyone experience or no why and if my state isn't using PMP - can I pay cash and get my refill early - I am going out of town, I will soon have a new insurance and dr. no contracts or anything to break. Thanks. ## Hi Irbo, Because each pill is manufactured by a different company, not only is there going to be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), but also if the medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient as well. This could mean that a 10mg oxycodone tablet may actually have 8mgs in it. For some people these subtle differences are the equivalent of taking somethin...

This is my first time taking Oxymorphone. After being on Oxycodone since mid 2000's, my pain dr. finally talked me into trying them. So far I can only find the Tevo and Endo brand and after reading what a lot of people have said about them, I'm confused on which brand to get. I have one more pharmacy to check out, have to go see them as they won't tell me over the phone, which I find strange since I use their other pharmacy (they're closer to my dr.). This time I saw my pain dr. early so I have my 'script and get them filled on 7/8/16. Since I have a few days, I've researched Oxymorphone and the manufactors (sp) and am now more confused on who I should try. Tevo? Endo? It's for the 5 mg. IR Oral Tablet. I'd appreciate any help from those of you that use t...
