Today is my first day at IOT.. I had a head injury one year ago .. Was given extremely high doses of oxy for 5 weeks .. Which turned into a very bad habit .. I took about 60mg a day .. They just gave me 2mg subx my Mind has settled but still feel like a drank 3 pots of coffee on the inside .. Does subx make you feel totally normal ? Otherwise, it won't work and can make u feel worse. As far as time, they usually take about 15 minutes 2 work. If the g don't work, u may need more. It all depends on how much and how long u were using. But, if you want 2 get clean, u r going 2 need more than a day or few 2 do it. U should go 2 a clinic or suboxone dr and do it properly. If u r not already doing that. Remember, the main thing is 2 b withdrawing b 4 u take the suboxone.

Down to 30mg morphine from 300. Out of pills, so friend gave me a 8mg Sub. To help. Waited 24hrs til i was sick. Took 2mg and was on top. Best mood and pain relieve ever. I have ten suboxones. I have been taking oxycontin for pain but want to try at home to w/d. I can't discuss this with my doctor as it will affect my insurance. This is a fact..in my case... I've been on Norcos 10 mg on and off for the last three years. I take any where from 4 to 8 a day and I'm only 20 years old. My friend gave me an 8 mg Suboxone strip a few weeks ago and I've been wanting to get clean for so long. I feel like this time I need help. Please help! I'm a mother of three children that is trying to stay of pain medications. I am in struggle of finding a suboxone doctor here in Indianapolis. Has anyone gotten the white w22 generic suboxone tablet? What is your opinion on them? This is the first time I got them and they are awful. They don't work the same and make you extremely tired. How do I best stop using this crap. Been trying to do less and less. I had shoulder surgery got onto perks and vikes. Long term stuff but weened myself off. This one isnt so easy. Thinking I should have done this tge hard way rather than try other folks advice. Any suggestions? ## Hi Mark, It really depends on how much your taking per day. Subs have the long half life so that makes things so much different then the usual pain pill wd. I can tell you this, when you get down to 3 or 4mgs you should not drop more than a half mg at a time. You need to wait until your body feels comfortable on that dose. I,m talking a week at the least. It,s because of the half life. It takes a long time but well worth it. If you do this the jump will be fairly easy.

If you're taking suboxone can you take a oxy for pain? Will it make you sick or not? ## Dear mjp it is not a good thing 2 take Oxy with subs. You could get very sick or it could be worse. Besides, suboxone blocks out the effects of Oxy. So, u wouldn't feel the Oxy. Mixing them is a no no. U must also b in withdrawals b 4 u can take the subs. ## No No!!! Why would you? Your on Suboxone for a reason. Suboxone blocks the effects. You could go into bad withdrawals or end up dead. ## You don't get sick. And you still feel the effects. I go back and forth all the time. I took 4 mg (half of 8) Suboxone last night before going to bed and I swallowed it while I was sleeping by mistake. I typically don't swallow it and I don't take more than what I'm supposed to take. I woke up after a few hours extremely nauseous feeling like I'm going to throw up. I know it's because I swallowed it. I did eat a decent amount before going to bed. How can I get this nauseous feeling to go away? Am I going to have to make myself throw up? ## No it should pass quite quickly. Want to know how many 8mg suboxone strips it takes to reach the 'ceiling effect' which docs say is equivalent to 30mg of methadone? ## Sub dr. told me 32mg or 4 of the 8/2 strips.
