The xan G3722 don't do anything for me. I use it to sleep or if I have a panic attack. Since they don't work within 20-30min they do me no good. Does anyone else have this issue or is it just not working for me. I have been on n off the regular 2mg 17 years n never had n issue of them not working and yes they are from the pharmacy. Thanks in advance for the advice. ## The G722 are just regular 2 mg pills. Xanax XR are 3 mg. I have many different types of Xanax bars, including the G722's and always break them in half. The less Xanax taken per dose is always best ## I have svt and the er doctor put me on dilitam 120 mg er that do not work for my blood pressure at 137/85. When I take this it goes up to 152/91.. up and down. What does blood in the urine mean?

I have been on 15mg Targin every 12 hours for nearly 4 years. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and suffer with pain daily. The Targin has worked well, but on two separate occasions, I dropped the tablet without knowing. The second time was yesterday. I was feeling pain, I was stuffed up in the head, nauseous, had a runny nose, etc. I didn't know what was wrong until I found the dropped tablet. I realized that these were signs of dependence and although I have never gotten anything but pain relief, no euphoria or buzzes or whatever they are called, I am pretty sure this counts as an addiction. I was so careful to rarely use my 5mg Endone for breakthrough pain, taking paracetamol first, etc... What would be the easiest way to get off these tablets? Would having one Targin in the morning ...

Hi, I have been taking the Allegra D 12 for a few weeks now & it really works excellently for me! I know this sounds gross but my doctor has me check my stool because of a prior but cured events! Lol... So...I'm curious as to why my body does not digest the brown portion of the pill!? Any ideas anyone? ## Hello, Ryan! How are you? Because that's the time released portion. The outer shell is part of what helps it to release slowly, over time, as it absorbs fluid in your stomach. Then, the empty shell is expelled as waste. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?

i have 8 to 10 panic attacks daily...please someone let me know if the xanax pie with BP 633 imprinted on it is extended release ....and why arent they working like the 2mg xanax "bars"????? ## Yes, these tablets do contain 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax, however, they are not extended release, which is probably why they aren't working as well for you. This is a Benzodiazepine, so it can be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ## So Melissa, did they eventually take the edge off? i got a few of them myself and personally prefer the bars better. Cant wait to get my scripted filled tomorrow for those. They still work just takes s little longer ...

Oxycodone in the instant relief form is much better than extended time release. Time release comes on at the wrong times and when you really need pain relief they aren't working. The doctor often prescribes norco for breakthrough pain. Why take 2 pain pills when you can just take the roxy IR and not be so hard on your liver. I've been on pain meds for 10 years. Good luck to all of people suffering from chronic pain like me!

Hi All, I just started 150mg Wellbutrin XR and 25mg zoloft 1 month ago for Binge Eating Disorder. I loved it! Trying to find the right combo though. 2 weeks ago I couldn't sleep at night. So I started Trazadone at night. It's a tad better but it lessens the Wellbutrin affect with my BED. I'm wondering how many take the instant release? Thinking maybe 75mg in the am and then half that the afternoon to help me sleep better. Any ideas? ## That might help, it really depends on what works for you, since all of us are different and may react differently to any given medication. It is something you could speak to your doctor about trying to see if they approve. Should I be concerned about the dye in the reddish tablets? ## Hello, Lee! How are you? Are you allergic to any dyes? I have been struggling with chronic pain most of my life. I have been taking 3 60MG Extended Release Oxycontin tablets a day along with 3 30MG Oxycodone instant release for breakaway pain. After 3 years of the same dosage it's not working as well as it used to. So my doctor decided to change up the meds a bit. She gave me Morphine Sulphate 60MG ER twice a day and for the life of me I cannot feel this working. It's only been a day but usually I would have pain relief around 30-45 after taking the Oxycontin and then about 3-6 hours of relief. How is this Morphine twice a day at the same MG going to give me the same relief I was getting before AND was already struggling with hence the change to the Morphine? I don't get it, especially after everything I have read falls in line ...

I have a spinal stimulator that was put in place on 8/19/16. It's the worst thing ever! I'm on 30mg extended release morphine TID and 15mg ir morphine for break through, but nothing is working!!! I was on norco 10-325 TID for years but it began not to work like I built up a tolerance. Any suggestions? My doctor is conservative but I have no life in constant pain. Oh, I'm also on neurontin 1200mg bid and zanaflex 4mg qid. ## What issues are you having with the spinal stimulator? It is such a shame that is isn't working for you. i have been taking 50mg of hyrdocodone per day for the last 6 months and it is not working for the pain anymore. I have ankolying spondylitus. My Dr has put me on 15mg morphine extended release 2x per day. I took 15mg about 3 hours ago and so far not relief. My questions is will this work for me as I was taking 50mg of hyrocodone per day. ## How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? The ER Morphine is released slowly, over a period of 12 hours, it is not released all at once, like the Hydrocodone was, so you will not feel the same effect. There is also a change that this dosage isn't high enough for you. Have you informed your doctor of the issue? Though, it is usually best to give it a week, or so, to see if things improve. My question concerns drug conversion. The Fentanyl works well, most of time, for my chronic pain, but my insurance now says I can only get it again in March of 2015. This is still Oct., 2014, so I will be out of patches at end of October. I don't understand this, because just stopping the patches would/will cause terrible withdrawal, because if you are only couple days late, withdrawal starts. This happened also recently as my dr. changed (at my request to try something else)100 mcg. patch to only 15 mg. of morphine ER every 12 hours, because of patches costing almost $400 for one month, which I cannot afford, due to "doughnut hole". The change made be very sick within two days, so I had to go back to patches. I didn't think the 15 mg. extended release morphine was enoug...

Does Acetaminophen ER 650mg (imprint: L544) work for severe arthritis? What's the best medication to buy for CR arthritis in the back, hands and feet? {edited for privacy} ## We are all different, so there is no way to say what would be the best medication, since what works for one person may not work for another. Some people do have great results with the time released Acetaminophen, since the slow, controlled release can help keep it in your body working longer than taking the traditional tablets. The FDA does warn that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness, and drowsiness. Does this medication have the potential for addiction and abuse? ## Amrix (cyclobenzaprine) is a potent pain killer which works by supressing the central nervous system. It has an additive effect with alcohol, and long half life which means high risk for overdose. This drug is very dangerous and should not be used other than how prescribed. ## I'm sorry, but that is not correct. Amrix does contain the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine, but it is just a muscle relaxant, it is used to help treat the muscle pain that's associated with sprains, strains and spasms. Thus, it is not a potent pain killer and it isn't known to be addictive or have a high risk of overdose. Learn more Cyclobenzaprine details here. Given OxyContin Extended Release 40mg per 12 hours in place of Methadone 10mg four times daily. Always given for pain by MD, 20 years now. Initial dose 20 yrs ago was 200 mg daily, got myself down to 120 mg daily, then down to 40mg (all of these in four doses, that took 3 years). I've been on OxyContin ER for one month along with Vicodin for breakthrough and Tramadol. Nothing really works. Can't sleep, eat or care for myself. The reason I'm off Methadone is because insurance said I would need to pay for it and I can't. Back with my parents and they are lost in this situation. On OxyContin I get relief for about 4 hours (after it takes close to an hour to start relief). They are the worst. I just want Methadone back but it has ruined and ruled my life. No marriage, no chi...
