How Do Suboxone Make You Sick

I have been taking Suboxone for about a month now. I find it on the street so not on a set dose. The past 3 days it has made me nausea's and threw up a few times. I am taking less than a 1/4 if that. I am on 8 mg og Suboxone a day. I take it at 6am. I know it should last atleast 24 hrs, but it seems as if I go to sleep during the day, I wake up sick. Is this possible, that when I'm sleeping my body burns off the suboxone quicker? ## No, that doesn't make any sense. When you are asleep, your metabolism actually slows down, so if anything, it should take longer to process a medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about this problem? I took my last pain meds @ 5 am today and I plan on taking suboxone until I'm able to make it to my appointment. It's 8mg and I know I shouldn't take the whole thing. is this possible or is it all mental? I know someone who is on suboxone but prefers the subutex (white ones). He says that when he stops using them even suboxone doesn't help and that he feels sick. If you're taking suboxone can you take a oxy for pain? Will it make you sick or not? ## Dear mjp it is not a good thing 2 take Oxy with subs. You could get very sick or it could be worse. Besides, suboxone blocks out the effects of Oxy. So, u wouldn't feel the Oxy. Mixing them is a no no. U must also b in withdrawals b 4 u can take the subs. ## No No!!! Why would you? I was put on suboxone 6 months ago it saved my life. I'm back to the old me and all of a sudden the doctor let 10-15 people go cause he wanted new patients. i passed all drug panels, did everything right and I called doc. the first time i ever took a suboxone it was the pill forum... i took a very small piece one early morning then like 6 hours later took the same amount piece i did that morning and like 20 min later i was throwing up, face was pale, felt like i couldnt breath, was very uncomfortable.. lasted for about 45 minutes then went away??? ## Hello, Casey! You people have no idea about how subutex/suboxone works. 1 you don't need to wait anymore than 24 hours to start subs if using H. 2 subs are both agonist and antagonist so once you reach a certain dose they effectively block out any other opiate/opiod that you try to use. 3 taking other opiates/opiods while on subs will NOT make you sick, you just won't feel their effects due to the subs blocking properties. 4 subs are not the magic bullet for addicts as you also become dependent on them and after being on subs for a while you will find that coming off them is VERY difficult and extremely long winded, the best you can hope for is to taper down to the smallest amount you can (I'm taking crumbs here; break your pills into small pieces when you want to get off them) but even d...
