subsal mint tablet suboxone

I am currently taking subutex cause I am allergic to something in suboxone. My doctor just asked me if I wanted to try something called subsal. Its new and I guess its a mint flavor tablet.... What is it ## Hi leah, Sorry to hear about your allergy to Suboxone. However, I haven't been able to find any specific details on any medications by the name of Subsal. Did your doctor mention anything else about what it's supposed to be used for? If the Subutex is working well as an alternative option, then in my honest opinion it may be best to stick with what you already know, since different brands can still effect each person differently. So switching medications is somewhat of a gamble in that regard. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Subutex Details I hope this help... ...

If I take 1/4 suboxone strip and a 60mg vyvanse, will it make me sick or sweat a lot? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications. Has your doctor prescribed them both? The Naloxone in the Suboxone only neutralizes other narcotics. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As to the Vyvanse, since it is a stimulant, it may cause sweating, along with the risk of being habit forming and causing other side effects, such as nausea, headache and irritability. Are there any other questions or concerns? ...

long term suboxone use
1 Reply RSS
Does anyone know of what vitamins to supplement the effects of long-term suboxene use? Been having a hard time finding the information ## Hi, Jax! How are you? The reason you aren't finding that information is because such studies aren't done. It's just not something that money is typically spent on research to see what vitamins best help someone taking any given prescription medication. It would be great if it were done, but I'm not sure that will ever actually happen. Learn more Suboxone details here. You should check with your doctor to see if it's okay for you to add a good multi, that would probably be the best way to go about it. Then you make sure that you get all of the essentials. ...

I HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO PAIN MEDS AND HAVE DONE GREAT ON SUBOXONE, UNTIL I HAVE MY PSYCHOTOIC EPISODES THEN NOTHING HELPS, AND CAN'T FIND ANY DR. IN KENTUCKY WHO WILL PRESCRIBE ANY KIND OF ANTIANXIETY MEDS WITH SUBOXONE. I FEEL SUICIDAL AND WOULD RATHER BE DEAD THAN LIVE LIKE THIS ## Hello, Sylena! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. The main issue, I think, is the fact that Xanax can be habit forming and is very commonly abused. If you're already being treated for addiction, them most doctors are going to be very reluctant to prescribe it for you. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and mood swings. Additionally, if you suffer from mental health issues, you'll need to see a specialist and most a... ...

Sore tongue and mouth from Suboxone
3 Replies RSS
I need some advice. I started taking Suboxone films last November. I am on 20 mg. a day. Ever since I started these films I noticed that underneath my tongue became sore, like it swelled up and had little bumps underneath. Per my pharmacist, I tried putting it in between my cheek and gum on the bottom, but the same thing happened. It's getting to the point that if I eat anything hot or spicy, it stings like crazy. Even the suboxone stings a little. I don't want to get my whole mouth sore, so I am keeping it underneath the tongue. In the morning my tongue is swelled and it's difficult to talk right, especially saying "s". I told my doctor when it first started happening, but he didn't think much of it. Anyone else have this problem? What should I do? ## It is diff... ...

Pharmacist refusing to fill my script of suboxone. What do I do???

I wet to my doc 7 days early because of running out early. I took my new script to pharmacy and said, this is early so I won't be using insurance. My doc said you can call him if necessary. Well no one wanted to. They filled two per day for three days. On the third day I asked to fill the rest on insurance for the next day. I was one day early. When I called the next morning to have my daily two filled the pharmacy manager said no we won't be filling it for another 5 days. Go to the ER for your withdrawals but don't come here because I won't give it to you. starting suboxone treatment

Tuesday I have an appointment scheduled with a suboxone doctor. I have became addicted to opiates in 2005 after I had surgery. I was able to sober up on my own for around a year in 2008 but I relapsed and in the past 2 years I dont think I've had even one sober day. I work, run my household, take care of my children but I just can't seem to function without something in my system. I am ready to be the person I was before I started abusing pain meds (and anything else I couls get my hands on). Im going to 3 meetings a week and a therapist to help me along the way.. but i just need someone to answer me honestly, do these really work? I don't know if I can handle living this way much longer so I really hope its "yes" ## Hi, Yes they work BUT unless you have a real bad h... ...

How to get prescribed Subutex?
1 Reply RSS
Ready to stop taking loratabs ## Have you asked your doctor about using Subutex to get off the Lortab? Most pain management doctors should have a general understanding of what you need to safely get through the withdrawal phase of such medications. In the event that you can't get Subutex, I'd even consider cutting the Lortabs into smaller fractions so you can take a partial dose to help ween down and lessen your need for more addicting meds like Subutex. I only say that because I've been reading a number of posts stating how some people use Suboxone, Subutex, & Methadone to get off one med and they ironically end up getting addicted to those one's as a result of taking them for so long. My suggestion is to take your time tapering off, but your doctor would probably h... ...

Methadone Doctor needed in NJ
2 Replies RSS
I live in Colonia NJ and I'm currently going to a clinic to get methadone. The clinic is severely interfering with my daily life. Are there any private doctors in NJ that will prescribe Methadone? I'm not looking for a suboxone doctor. Thank you ## The Methadone addiction treatment laws actually fall under federal regulations and all of them require periodic clinic visits for the patients. Private doctors are actually not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment, because they can't provide the same supervision and do not have the same training those in the clinic setting do. Therefore, you'll always have to use a clinic and there will always be a limited time period for which you can get take home doses. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Their is a doc... ...
