my mother-in-law accidentally took this pill by mistake. she took 2 this morning and 2 this evening. she thought it was her diebetes medicine ## This is an antibacterial med, so the main adverse effects here are going to be to her blood sugar from not taking the diabetes meds, there won't be much afffect from taking a few extra of these, as long as she doesn't have an allergic reaction to them. In the future, when you are worried about something like this, you should really call a poison control line or her doctor to get an answer faster, there are meds that could be dangerous if taken that way, and if she is having a bad reaction, you don't want to be waiting around for someone online to log on and give you an answer. ## i accidently swallowed one of my husbands flomax? ## ...

Have lead poisoning from teen years. now in 50's, My ear seems plugged after the 10 days and a short trip to higher elevation. Dizzy and weak also. ## Hi noknee, How are you? Sorry to hear about your previous run in with lead poisoning. I had no idea lead remained in your system for such a long time. Although from what I understand, there are ways to detox it out with proper exercise and dieting (e.g - juicing fresh fruits/vegetables, taking activated charcoal, as well as various "heavy metal detox" supplements on the market). At the moment there don't appear to be any methods for determining if prescription antibiotics interact with lead specifically, so you may need to have your doctor evaluate the condition of your ear and see if it might even be the result of an alle...

I am on my way to opiate addiction, i want to use suboxone to detox and try and kick the habit. ## Hello, Og! How are you? There is a search feature on the Suboxone website that allows you to search for a doctor in your area by zip code, their contact information will be included, so you can call to see if they are taking new patients. You can find it at Suboxone.com. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Be patient with yourself. Whatever you do NEVER LET THOSE DEATH CLINICS TALK YOU INTO METHADONE. I lost my daughter as she died from that poison...

Iv been taking it its dated 2013 because icant aford the 60$ perscription for it n i need to have teeth pulled but i need to take the antibiotic first so am i poisoned. Am i gunna die thts realy all i need to know. Thankyou ## Hello, Karl! How are you? No, it won't kill you. However, medications do lose effectiveness over time, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. The best thing to do would be to dispose of it and pick up the new prescription. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I swallowed a little bit of it. I was rinsing when all of a sudden some if it got in my throat, and I spit it out right away. PLEASE HELP :( I'M FREAKING OUT. ## If you are afraid that your life, or the life of a loved one is in danger, you should always contact your nearest emergency services department, or poison control. That said, did you talk to your pharmacy or doctor? These products are regional and do not have the same ingredients everywhere, so I can't even say whether or not swallowing it would be harmful. Have you asked your pharmacist?

In what country is Temazepam by Mylan (Mylan 4010) made? I do not like to take anything made in China, because they put poisonous substances in products, or from the Phillipines, because they do not put a full dose in each pill or capsule. For instance, whenever I receive a Z-pack that is not made in USA, it diesn't work. ## Where something is made is not relevant, if it is approved to be provided by a doctor, or pharmacy here in the U.S., then it must meet the same safety and efficacy standards as all others, under FDA regulations. They warn that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. As to when the Azithromycin doesn't work, it is possible that it was not the correct antibiot...

I've been taking Wafarin for three years and that has been agony. Regular blood tests, not always pleasant, and the drug itself, a derivative of rat poison was and is a crude preventive measure.. Yes I was scared of changing the routine but now I'm on Xarelto and I feel so much better. No dietary restrictions. Yes I was tired for a few days. The difference between Wafarin and Xraelto is that I can think.. Wafarin destroys the senses. Yes I was scared of the change, but so glad I did. ## Had been treated for lower lumbar problems with IV's now had double PE and was put on Xrealto wanting to know how long I have to go before I can have my next IV the back and leg pain is bad to were I can hardly walk. ## Hello, Reinhold! How are you? Oh, make no mistake, it is not a derivative ...

I've been in Xanax 22 years and currently moved and don't have money for a new doctor yet any suggestions on what I can do temporarily ## Considering one can die during a withdrawal there is no advice that can be given except get to the E.R. You can't find a substitute for the poison we know as Xanax ## The information Eddy has posted is correct, it is best to heed his warning. A sudden withdrawal from Xanax, or other benzodiazepines, when someone has been taking high amounts for a long period of time can be very dangerous, and may include seizures, as well as other possibly fatal issues. Thus, if you find yourself in severe withdrawal, you should seek emergency medical assistance. Some withdrawal symptoms, as listed by the FDA, may include: nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nerv...

been vomiting off and on for about an hour, three times, my heads not hurting. woke up had to throw up ## What caused you to start vomiting, and how long has it been going on for? It sounds like it's from something you may have ate (food poisoning possibly). There have been a large number of recalls for certain foods recently, if that is the case. Either way I would recommend checking in with your doctor or going to urgent care. They can better evaluate your condition in person by checking all levels of your health and medical history. In the meantime I would suggest sticking to mostly fresh raw fruits and vegetables for your diet and limit dairy products and poultry. Dairy is mucous forming and can possibly worsen the effects. Cooked foods in general are carcinogenic to humans, alt...

is Galocipro the same as clorex is it for stomachs due to food poisings is food poising when u have stomach ache but no diaharr ## Hi Sharon, Food poisoning can certainly cause stomach aches as well as diarrhea, but every case may be different and vary in so far as what symptoms you experience and how severe they are. Regarding Galocipro and Clorex, I'm not seeing either of these even listed as a medication or dietary supplement.. so I don't know if the spelling is wrong or if it may be some type of foreign product... Where did you first hear about them? NOTE: Chlorhexidine and Clorox are the only two remotely close names I found to Clorex, of products that actually exist (at least here in the US). If you could provide any additional information on these drug names and/or their ...

back pain ## Niferex is an iron and vitamin combination used to supplement the diet. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor. SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include nausea, constipation, diarrhea, or stomach pain. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. WHILE YOU ARE TAKING THIS MEDICINE, you may notice darkening of bowel movements. This is normal. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience rash, itching, or vomiting with continuing stomach pain and black or green bowel movements. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. What to do when a 60 year old male takes an APO 020 (20mg) not prescribed to him? He has been taking 2-3 pills at least once a day for 3-4 days. His symptoms are dry cough, fever, earaches, fatigue, vomiting, black stuff and leg cramps. ## Call poison control or his doctor ASAP. APO 020 Omeprazole is not one of those common "recreational" drugs so he should not get in trouble for it, and they can tell you the appropriate course of treatment. As far as treating GERD (I assume that's what he is taking it for??), he may also wish to consider Apple Cider Vinegar supplementation in the future as long as his doctor says it's okay. My mom was able to get herself off the Omeprazole permanently by incorporating ACV into her diet. Hope this helps and best wishes!

Hi im 16 & my name is janai. Im really scared because i took 5 clonodine because everytime i took one i stayed up & i wasnt tired anymore im scared to sleep ... will i die? ## Hello, Janai! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Whenever a post like this is made, I always try to make sure to let people know that if you fear that your life or the life of a loved one may be in danger, please call poison control or go to your nearest emergency treatment facility. Do not post on a free website and wait for an answer. While there are some of us on here regularly, who are always happy to help, if we can, we cannot administer life saving procedures over the Internet.

I accidentally took 3 10 mg oxymorphone or in the same hour. Will it hurt me ## No .relax. your fine.you wont die. Stay hydrated ## How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Any time you're worried about a possible overdose, you should call poison control, or go to your nearest emergency department. While such a dosage may be okay for some, if someone isn't tolerant to opiates, it could result in a dangerous overdose. The FDA lists overdose symptoms as possibly including nausea, dizziness, severe drowsiness, vomiting and shallow breathing.

Just updating my situation with severe diarrhea after Prolia shots. I have gone on a totally gluten free diet and what a relief!! My bowels are back to normal (took just four days) and I feel sooo much better overall. The gluten free diet is very expensive, however, I feel it is well worth the cost to not spend my life in the lavatory. Seriously, some attorneys need to start a legal suit against the company that put this poison onto the market to be inj.'ed into unsuspecting patients, causing celiac disease/gluten sensitivity, and all the myriad of other problems I have been reading about. ## Hello, Jeena! How are you? A change in bowel habits can be a normal side effect of Prolia, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, fatigue, headache, and anemia. As to the glu...

Someone please. ## I would recommend contacting poison control center asap - Please respond with how it turns out. ## Relax, take deep breaths; walk around and drink lots of water, eat some bread. Make sure there is someone with you. You will be fine, you are not going to die. If things don't get better in the next 20 minutes, you will be o.k., cause you would've overdosed by then. my daughter is 10 years and my husband is 24 years both are complaining of fever, stomach pain, headache they have vomited twice and on diarhhea would you recommend this medicine for them ? ## It sounds like they both have food poisoning. Did they both start feeling this way after a certain meal? Bad food poisoning can bring with it a fever, stomach pain, vomitting, diarrhea, etc...and last for up to a few days. Just a thought, as this very thing happened to me not too long ago, with the exact same side effects you mentioned. Felt I like was going to die, until it finally passed through my system. l lost my mother to Lithium Poisoning/Toxicity last year. Although this drug has been around so long, I need to express my concerns. Why are there no REAL rules and regulations regarding how drug is dispensed and monitored? Her life could have been saved if the proper levels were taken as they should have been.I thought that a physician is supposed to take levels at least every 3 months? The doctor also had her on celexa, which I think complicated things even more. I wish there was an advocacy group or regulations that could bring awareness and try to protect people from this deadly drug and its dangers. My mother accidentally got the wrong dose and no labs for 18 months. She died 15 days after levels reach toxic and became flu like symptoms. Please be careful if you are taking this dru...
