I have been put on estradiol 2mg and progesterone 200mg 2x daily vaginally to trigger period. Once my period comes I will begin my 1st cycle of clomid. How long does it take for my period to start with the estrogen/progesterone combo? ## Hello, Kiki222! How are you? How long will you be taking it? Usually, your period will start within a day or two of stopping the Progesterone.

I have been on Medroxypr 2.5MG and Estradiol 1MG for several years. I want to go off of these. Can I just stop taking them or do I have to wean myself off them? ## Have you consulted your doctor? They would be the person best qualified to help you in this matter. A sudden cessation of these hormonal tablets could cause some rebound effects, such as acne, headaches and weight changes.

Hi, I've been taking Qlaira for 2 years. Unfortunately they stop producing Qlaria all over the world. What pills have the same effect? I'm using it to control my menstrual flow, I'm a heavy bleeder. Thanks. ## I'm not sure where you live, but Bayer makes a brand called Natazia which appears to contain a similar ingredient profile. Both Qlaria [1] and Natazia [2] appear to contain a combination of Estradiol Valerate and Dienogest as part of the cycle. I took Estra-noreth for 3 1/2 weeks and stopped taking it. I started spotting and vaginal bleeding. I have not had a period in 7 years and started this drug for hot flashes. Is it normal to bleed upon stopping the drug? ## Hi T Smith, Based on my research, vaginal spotting or breakthrough bleeding is a side effect of Estra-noreth (Estradiol + Norethindrone). It's possible that it is still in your system and is trying to work its way out. If this problem worsens I would definitely contact your doctor, just to be safe. I hope this helps!
