I find approximately 20 to 30 minutes after taking Glucophage or Metformin I am extremely hot, as in bad hot flashes. I am wondering if this is happening to anyone else? ## Hmm.. Just got off Plavix (clop.....) after 18 months on after a stent was implanted in my main artery. I am getting hot flashes about 4 a week.... is that a withdrawal symptom? I am 72. my step daughter said that her mother gave her a hot pink oblong pill and said that her mother said it was a pain killer. but my step daughter said that it wasnt anything like her fathers that is darvocet and he gets the brand name and generic due to back injury so what else could it have been ## Sorry, without knowing the markings that were on the pill, it is impossible to say. need to know what this is ## FOUND THIS DRUG IN MY DAUGHTERS ROOM ## Well, I am sorry to say that is these were not prescribed for her by a doctor, this is definitely NOT something she should be messing around with. This is a generc version of the mild narcotic pain killer Darvocet. It contains Propoxyphene 100mgs and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. It is the mildest narcotic you can get, but still a narcotic nonetheless. Therefore it carries the possibility of dangerous side effects and addiction. On top of that, Propoxyphene had been found to be a cardiotoxic agent, so it should never be used without a doctor's approval and supervision.
