I started using Oralcon-F pills 14 hours after intimacy. We didn't use protection. Is there any chance that I can get pregnant? I have been on Purbac for acne, today (Wednesday) marks the 3rd week of treatment. Last week on Thursday was my last day having my period. Today I had intercourse with my fiance and the condom broke. Am I at risk of pregnancy? Does ovulation play a part in this? Can I take contraceptives? ## Antibiotics like Purbac can reduce the efficacy of hormonal contraceptives, creating a risk of pregnancy. Yes, Ovulation always plays a role, but if the antibiotic disrupted your cycle, you may not ovulate when you expect to do so. Hi. I've been using oralcon for a while now, I have missed it for 3 days and had intercourse on the first day I've missed it. I again started taking it after the third day of missing it and now I seem to be having my periods or just spotting. Could I be pregnant and is this normal? ## Hello, Walles! How are you doing? Yes, if you miss several tablets in a row, it is normal to spot or experience a full menstrual flow. That's actually how your period is induced, when you're taking hormonal contraceptives, it's a withdrawal bleed, the week of pills when you have your period have no active ingredients. And yes, it you missed several in a row and had intercourse, then there is a chance you could be pregnant. If you want to restart them now, you'll need to check to mak...

LIst of generic name oral contraceptives ## There are many of these on the market, rather than selling them under the names of the hormonal ingredients, most companies just give them their own trade names, even though they are generics and generic priced. There are so many on the market, that I could not possibly provide you with a list of all of them. Some include products such as: Aless Tri-Phasal OvoPlex Apri and many others. Is there a particular class or group of ingredients you are looking for?

Oralcon is a hormonal based contraceptive, so they work by adding certain amounts of synthetic estrogen and progesterone to your body to prevent ovulation from occurring each month.
